Leaving Tues for HRH any tips!

Hi all!!! We are a group of 9 with 5 kids total....We have a Deluxe room for 2 nights and then off to Port Orleans Riverside for 3...

I just wish the parks were open longer!
Any Tips or suggestions would be great!!!

Keep a open mind and a open purse. But most of all have a great time.........Remember universal is not disney nor does it try to be,But i think you will find it allott more enjoyable.......Give us a trip report when you get back.

It is very exciting..my little guy 4 just learned about The Cat in the Hat in Preschool yesterday so he then got so happy to see the map that showed Suess Landing!!!

We were only at Universal 1 day 2 years ago and loved it!!...Your right both parks are very different and thats o.k.

Hi if u are staying onsite remember you can take the parks at your pace with fotl and u also have fotl the day u check out as well so enjoy

Consider leaving the 5 kids with 2 adults each evening and letting the other 2 adults have an "adult" dinner at one of the great restaurants at the resorts or Citywalk. Perhaps dinner can be followed by music and dancing at one (or more) of the Citywalk nightclubs or perhaps a movie at the theater.

For the adults and kids who stay back at the hotel, you could order pizza from an outside vender (Flippers gets good reviews) and play in the pool area. If it is too cold to swim, there are still activities by the pool. You can also get in room movies for the kids' enteretainment.

Tip-
When you go to the pool from the hotel there is a walkway to your left with a gate that is a short cut to the sidewalk to Universal.
Listen for the music underwater.
If you go to the gym let the water run for about 10 minutes. It will get hot eventually.
Visit the Loews website and get a LoewsFirst number. This will get you some extras.
With the FOTL passes you will kick yourself for not going to Disney first. Standing in line
