    Its that time of the year again when Knott's says thanks to active first responders. Nov 15th through December 15th and then again January 8th until the 31st. You plus one get free admission to the park. Discounted tickets for additional people can be purchased. You do have to pay for parking. We usually go on the weekdays because the weekends can get crowded. On the weekdays its often completely dead and always a great time at Knott's. You are required to present your job photo ID/creds at the gate. The link below has all the details concerning eligibility.

    We go every year and it's getting really expensive as the extra tickets are now $40 each! But still worth it and better than paying full price. We always do a Monday in December and the crowds are usually not bad, though last year was the worst we've ever seen.
