We just got back and Ill write a longer trip report later. We stayed at Homewood Suites(6 in a suite-lots of room) and was there from 12/23-12/28. AWESOME going at Christmas. Crowds were not too bad until Monday. christmas they closed the gates , but it didnt feel too bad.........Friday and Christmas Eve was bearable. Tue and Wed-FORGET IT!!!!California was never too bad. Every morning, except on early entry, we'd make it over to DC when it opened and go on all of the major rides , with 10-20 min waits until noonish. Any questions??

We are heading out on tommorrow and will be staying at the Homewood.

Couple of questions:
- did you take the ART shuttle to parks, or drive? How was it? How long did it take?

- any suggestions on the room or hotel? (we have 4 in a room, so we should have lots of room?)

We loved Homewood! You will too. The free dinner mon-thur was yummy and the breakfast each day was good as well. We stayed on 1st floor-suite 101. It was huge with a full kitchen and 2 queens with a pull out sofa. We used the ART everyday. Passes are at the front desk and its a 5 minute drive door to door. It picks up in front of Marriot suites which is about 100 feet from the front door of Homewood.Having 4 in the room, you will have lots of room. Bring your suits- It was warm during the day. If you plan, go to the hotel around 3 for a break from the parks, swim, then eat dinner before returning- All dining in the parks were looonnnng lines. I loved Red Robin which was accross the parking lot from the hotel.Oh, eat breakfast early, too. Aroung 8 its crowded. It starts at 6 and we went everyday by 630 then headed right to the ART stop-It comes every 20 minutes.
