We are going in June next year and we wondered Just how much rain we likely to experience?

We have read that afternoon thunderstorms are quite likely, could this be every day and, if so, do they normally last long?

From past experience, you can expect temperatures knocking around 90, plenty of sun, hot & humid with afternoon storms which are quite welcome to cool things down.. Not the best time to go as too hot really. We had exceptional weather this june with LOADS of rain & not much sun, but then a guy put the kiss of death on us as soon as we got off the plane by saying they hadn't had any rain for 2 months!

What a shame. Just goes to show how unpredictable the weather can be wherever you go.

We are not bothered about the temperatures (will give us chance to make full use of the water rides!), but the amount of rain we may have does worry me slightly.

We went this june too it wasnt too bad,it was hot and humid,very sticky,thank god for air conditioning!
The rain storms usually started in the afternoon,we found they appeared 4pm....which wasnt too bad infact your quite grateful to have abit of rain,but if you go to the parks do them in the morning,we found our day was disrupted with the rain. We went to blizzard beach and it was closed for 2hrs while the thunder passed,this is very common.

Eastender lol they told us that when we arrived it had been lovely,until that day so we must of took the english weather with us then? heheh

If you like the heat, June's a great time to go.

Yes, you do get regular afternoon storms, but they generally pass by very quickly and are almost welcome If you are in the parks and one hits, stay there because lots of people head home them so you get more room

we usually go the first week in June and encounter heat and humidity. rain has never been an issue when it did rain it never lasted to long and we just ducked in a restaurant or shop and waited it out. Rain is a bigger issue in August we were there Aug. 2001 and it rained quite a bit, but i am not bothered by the rain and it is not an issue for me. hope you have fun in june 2003 maybe we'll see you...remember your lime green ribbon
