Whether you're new or returning, welcome to the Jubilant July Exercise Challenge!

I'm happy to host this month's challenge. This will be my 5th challenge and I'm so grateful to have discovered them.

Here's how it works:

Choose a time goal for the month, share it below, and post your minutes as you progress towards that goal.
You can set a monthly goal that means something to you, or calculate your goal based on a target number of minutes per day.


Since July has 31 days, here are some conversions:

10 minutes/day = 310
15 minutes/day = 465
20 minutes/day = 620
30 minutes/day = 930
45 minutes/day = 1395

You decide what movement counts towards your goal. It can be anything you choose.

Being that I was in Disney World just a month and a half ago and how much I loved meeting the characters, some multiple times, and how happy it made me, this month's theme will focus on the Classic 6. I'll be posting fun pictures, trivia, and video clips throughout the month.

One of the fun motivators of these challenges are the color changes :rainbow::

Donald Duck Blue - 10%
Pluto Orange - 25%
Daisy Duck Purple - 50%
Minnie Mouse Pink - 75%
Mickey Mouse Red - 90%
Goofy Green - 100%

This first post will be updated (almost) daily with everyone's reported minutes and keep track of individual and our team's color changes.


The challenge officially begins July 1, but you are welcome to join any time after that. Just post your goal and you'll be added to the list.

Let's start off this summer happily skipping towards fitness with a little help from our Disney friends.

I'll stick to my 40 min/day goal for 1240 total minutes.

I would like to join with a goal of 1300 for cardio, yoga and strength training. It has been years since I have done one of these and glad you keep it going.

I'm hoping to make about 930. So I'll join for that. I'm starting to adjust to working and my feet aren't quite as angry and achy(hadn't worked 40 with a majority on my feet in a long time) when I get home so I think I could start planning for a stop at the gym on my way home for at least 30 minutes. :)
