JOURNEY TO MY FIRST 10K

Hey everyone!

My name is Darienne and im 24 years old!

I'm hoping this motivates me to kick even more butt in my first 10k!

I ran my first 5k at the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend last year and I became instantly hooked! This year I will be running the Disneyland 5k with my mom(her first race ever) and the 10k! I'm super excited but I'm a little nervous about falling behind! I fractrured my ankle end of september and its been hard getting fully back in. I was just approved by my doctor 3 weeks ago to start running again.

I'll be posting daily to let everyone know how I'm doing! Please feel free to share tips!

Today's Workout:

1 mile treadmill walk(no pain)
30 minutes of abs

Went to the gym this morning did a little bit of cardio and then spent the rest of the time on different leg machines. Upped all my weight so im going to feel it tomorrow...if my legs aren't super dead tomorrow going to run 2.5 miles on treadmill.

Starting Weight: 217
Todays Weight: 211
Goal Weight: 145.
