It's Getting Close! June 30th Visitors!!??

I hope I'm posting in the right category. If so I know the admins will change it.

I'm living vicariously through anyone who will be at HS on June 30th. Just chime in if you'll be there, and let us know if you're one of the lucky ones who got a FP, and post a screenshot if you will! I'd love to know! I won't be there until November. Hope you all have a blast!

We will be there on June 30th and were able to get FP for the Alien Swirling Saucers for that day. We were able to get FP for Slinky Dog Dash on another day later in our trip. I am so excited!

Will be at HS on July 1. Staying at YC, plan to get up at 5am and go straight there. I will post later that day about our experience - I am especially curious about what crowds will be like when we arrive at roughly 5:20/5:30. I am expecting that they will be fairly high, if TSS' opening is anything like Pandora's opening.

July 5th for Toy Story for us - and we were able to snag 8:30am Slinky Dog FastPasses for all 5 of us.

My niece decided to join us this day just last week. Of course I couldn't get Slinky Dog FP for here … but I was surprised how hard it was to get matching times for others like Tower of Terror and Aerosmith. The park must be PACKED!

I'm a fairly local AP and will be driving over that morning for opening day. No FPs, but I'll be there in line as early as possible, the same as I was for Pandora's opening day. I think I'm going for the Alien Spinners first and then I'll decide whether or not I want to wait for Slinky before heading over to join some friends in another park. I'll definitely bring my iPad with a few movies downloaded to watch while waiting.

We will be in HS on June 30th and have FPs for SDD. We also have FPs on July 1st for Alien Swirling Saucers.

We will be there June 30th. We have FP+ for SDD at 10:30am. Could have gotten 9am, but didn't want to. We'll try to get there for park open, so that the kids can buy some AP exclusive pins for opening day.

We will be there the morning of the 30th. Only going for about 2 hours before leaving to board the Fantasy. Have FP+ for TSM @ 8AM; couldn't get either new ride before 9:30. Mainly planning on AP/DVC exclusive opening day merchandise and PhotoPass pictures in TSL.

Have FP+ for AS2 the afternoon we return from the cruise (July 11) and SDD FP+ for Friday July 13.

We have a FP for 3 on 6/30 7:45-8:45 PM, but our flight leaves at 11:00 AM. I'll be releasing this soon and was wondering if someone would like to try to grab it? Maybe try IM or something ?

We will be in the world starting the 28th, but not going to HS until the 3rd, but we did get slinky dog FP+ for all 11 of us.

I imagine the first few will begin arriving around 4am. By 6:30 am there will likely be hundreds waiting

Back in the Star Wars Weekend days people would camp out the previous night starting around 8 or 9pm to wait for HS to open the next day

July 6th at 1:40PM here. With how insane Pandora was when it opened, we may not even make it over to SDD. If we have a FP for the ride,is there any guarantee that we'll be able to get into the area? Pandora had something like a 1-2 he wait just to get into the area...

Will be there June 30 and July 4. I have a FPs for TSMM since that was the only thing available to 30 days out. I figure that will get me in to at least look around. I have FPs for SDD and AS2 for my trip in August (booked at 60+4 and 60+6 as that is an onsite stay).

No one can say for sure, but based on the crowds at Pandora's opening and based on the fact that there have always been at least a couple hundred people there already when we've shown up an hour before rope drop on a non-special event day at any of the parks, I'm going with "yes."
