Here’s the plan! I’m traveling with my husband, my mother, daughter - 7, son - 5 and youngest son - almost 3. I have 4 GADs to use for fastpasses!! We're doing the Deluxe Dining Plan, and are purchasing parkhoppers.

I know it looks like a lot of time in restaurants to some of you, but we did regular dining last trip, and wished we'd had more table service restaurants - we did not enjoy QS! That being said, we don't intend to lounge at the restaurants - just eat something, regroup and move on. I've chosen them mostly based on their entertainment value for the kids.

Not so sure that I would schedule a pre-pay meal for arrival day. Flight could be late and that would throw your whole timing off. Are you getting a rental car or using DME? If using DME, Disney will let you know what time you are scheduled to be at the bus stop for pick-up on your day to return to the airport and from what I understand from other posts are pretty strict that that is the bus you are to be on.

I was planning to use DME. Do you prefer the other services? I guess I can see how early they're planning to get us and then decide. Or perhaps I need to book a car service well in advance?

I put HDDR in on arrival night because the park look so crowded! I'll see if I can switch it out for one of the closer resort restaurants, though. Thanks for the input!

Your 2:30 departure may be exactly what you get for your DME time as I have read that generally the pickup should be about 3 hours before your flight time. If I understand it correctly, if you signed up for DME, about 24 hours prior to departure Disney will provide you with the time of your bus pick up. I was reading on another thread that they are pretty strict about you making the bus you are scheduled on, so if your plan is to go back to the parks that morning, you will need to make sure to allow ample time to get back to get on your assigned bus. Buses/times are allocated based on need at each of the resorts. If you miss your bus, there may not be another one coming back to your resort at a time that would get you to MCO for your flight. And even if there were, there might not be any seats available on that bus.
