Ideas for table names and placecards

I'm having a Cinderella themed wedding and trying to decide how to name each table and the guests placecards. Does anyone know if Disney will make these for me, or is this something I'll need to do on my own?

So I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to just simply number the tables, I want something creative. I was thinking of either having each table be a Disney Princess or having them be a ride. I'm going to do assigned seating, will Disney provide me with a layout of the room and tables so I can put everyone's names in the places I want?

Could you make each table one of the characters from Cinderella-Gus gus, jacque, bruno, major, fairy godmother? Just an idea relating to cinderella! Love your other ideas too!

For table name ideas, it might be helpful to know how many guests/tables you were planning on, and also if you were doing a sweetheart table or a wedding party table or whatever for your special table.

Disney and Disney World lends itself well to creative table schemes, since so much of Disney is so familiar to everyone already. And you can do tons of super cute things, so if you want to be creative, go for it! But some table names might seem at odds with your decor, if it’s going to be the same for each table (a Jungle Cruise table covered in roses?), so keep that in mind. Also, the broader your table theme, the harder it might be for your guests to see your overall wedding theme. So if you really want your wedding to say “Cinderella” and not “fairy tale,” I’d go with Pandora.becca’s suggestion to name the tables after Cinderella characters before I named them after different Disney princesses.

There’s nothing wrong with having your table numbers be numbers, of course, and if you have more than a handful of tables your guests may very well prefer clarity to something cutesy.

You can buy table numbers and place cards from Disney, or you can provide your own.

I'm not sure yet how many tables it will be. I'll have 80 guests and a sweetheart table for me and my future husband. I'm guessing 7 or 8 tables? I want a really elegant look and won't have each table looking different with decorations, just the name cards and table labels would look creative. I do see how other princesses could throw the Cinderella theme off. Do you think having Disney rides would? The name cards could be a fast pass to the ride?

From one FSU girl to another!... Your wedding sounds amazing! How about naming the tables as a time on a clock? You and your future husband could sit at the "midnight" table. You could use fancy clocks with the corresponding time as part of your centerpieces.

That is such a cute idea I never would have thought of that! Go Noles :)

I did the fast pass option! There is a great company on etsy that has a million different rides, themes, etc- even princess! It would still look like a fast pass but could have Cinderella and PC on top! You should check them out, it’s InvitationDISigns on Etsy!

Thanks! I'll take a look at them

My daughters tables were Attractions with the escort cards “fastpasses”. Disney did all of that for us. It’s done through Themes Comes True and Disney floral arranges it all.

Would you happen to have any pictures of them?

We used Table planets.

We didn't care that 70% of the guests wouldn't get it. :)
