when you call about a code, how do you go about it. What is the question you ask? What information do they need to check for a pin or code.

I have been to WDW many times but never did the pin/code thing. I of course learned about pins from these boards but never received any in the mail. This is the first I knew that you could call and check to see if you have anything by your name.

As it is it will take me working up my nerve to call them.

I knew I had received a postcard in the past, so I just called and said I got a postcard, threw it away (thinking my next trip was in the distant future), can you tell me if I'm eligible for a discount? No problem. If you didn't receive a postcard, or don't remember, you could call and say "I thought I got a postcard from Disney with a discount a few months ago, but now I can't find it, and I'm thinking it might have been something else instead... is there any way you can check and see if I'm eligible for a discount?" Like you, I hate to call if I'm going to make myself look stupid. But the CM was very nice.
