How late is too late to book?

My family is planning a late June or early July 2020 trip. We are planning to book at Royal Pacific but I am wondering how late is too late to book? Does Royal Pacific fill up quickly? If I book in October could it be full? I am not sure of the exact dates yet due to work schedule but should know definite dates by October.

I booked SF three days before I stayed there.

If you’re worried, give yourself a month or two.

The only time I book 11-12 months out is for hhn
I go for specific dates and aim for one hotel

My other stays for RP have been booked a few times 4 weeks out

Never ran into an issue with the bookings
