How do I still use dining credits from first part of split stay to 2nd part of split stay?

We check-out of our first resort on 11/5 early a.m. (deluxe dining plan) and will Uber to our second resort and check-in before heading to MK for the day also on 11/5 in a.m. (deluxe dining plan) but we'll still have a few extra dining points unused from the first resort. So how do we use those credits first, and technically start our second resort dining credits on 11/6?

It is all managed behind the scenes. your 2nd dining credits won't be active until your first set of dining credits is used up, or they expire (at midnight after checkout).

The key thing here is the second set of credits will be completely unable to be used until all credits on the first stay are used (including snack and mug credits) up, or until they expire at midnight. You couldn't, for example, use credits on the 2nd stay to pay for dinner while still holding onto snack credits from the 1st stay for a late snack on the transition day, nor can you pay for a meal using some credits from each stay's pool.

Thank you both. Looking it over, it looks like we'll have unused credits on both stays, so we'll probably just "cash" in the credits for snacks the evening prior to our check-out and the morning of check-out of resort #1 and check-in @ resort #2 we'll just start anew. Pretty sure this will be our last split stay - its getting annoying having multiple days to book dining, then book FPs, then keep track of dining credits.

During our split stay, we were unable to use all of our credits between each “moving day.” The front desk can transfer credits from one stay to the next to prevent you from losing them or having to cash in as snacks. It takes a LONG time for the CM to perform the transfer because they have to do it manually, but in the case of TS credits it is worth it. You don’t want to buy three $5 snacks with a TS credit, when you could have dined at a buffet or character meal.

Also, I agree that split stays are difficult. We likely will never do it again. The logistics with dining and moving is a lot to navigate.
