I was pleased to know we'd be there during this festival during our upcoming quick trip, as I've heard good things. But when I saw last year's menus, there were only a few things that really appealed to me. I just took a look at this year's stuff. Mind BLOWN. Looks fantastic, and since it's Jan/Feb, temperature's likely to be conducive to some extreme mid-day hoggery. Sigh. Guess I'd better pack my stretchy pants!

(Edited - Yup, I'm slow on the uptake - looks like they were released over a month ago. But still, my stretchy pants comment and excitement stand.)

Moderator - I apologize - I meant to post this to the Restaurants thread. Obviously too excited about the menus...

I'm so excited too! One of my best 2018 memories was the hubs and I getting two deconstructed dish items and sitting by the gardens to eat. I think that one item converted him to a foodie. Now we run around trying all sorts of things here.

Did you see the Walk of Colorful Cuisine too? I can't wait to see if we can do that on our trip and get the completer item (Though I have no idea what it is yet.)

I’m sure I’m missing it but is there a festival of the arts thread already? If not lets make this the one!

Looking forward to quite a few things this year. One of my favorite festival items/souvenirs is the Masi Sake in a Traditional Personalized Wooden Cup in Japan. They write your name in Japanese on a wooden box and then pour a hefty amount of sake in for you to enjoy. Cheers!

Sounds great, thanks for mentioning this, I'll be having one (or more).

We leave in 9 days (!!!) and this will be our first time at Festival of the Arts -- and my husband's first trip ever! He's way more of a "foodie" than I am, but we both have been drooling over the menus ever since they got released. Food porn and Galaxy's Edge are the only way I lured him into taking this trip, lol. Can't wait for the festival!! I'm one of those people who wishes the plane would just land in the Epcot parking lot anyway so that I get there that much faster, and this festival is the cherry on top. :-)

We will be there next week. When I booked it I was aware the festival was going on but for some reason didn't realize there would be so many booths. My son and I were a little sad to be going outside of F&G or F&W because we love us some food booths, now we are happy little disers.

We are clearly the same person with the same DH.

Will there be printed brochures/menus available at Epcot showing all the booths?

Ive found over the past couple of years if I rate the quality of "booth" offerings between the 4 main festivals that have offerings: Christmas, F&W, F&G, and Arts I rank them like this: 1. F&G, 2. Arts, 3 F&W, 4 Christmas

We go to all fo them several times and taking into account crowds, food offerings, etc...F&W has fallen way down the list because it is so repetitive each year now and the quality has been average at best the past couple of years. meanwhile, F&G and Arts have upped the game and done much better, at least from our opinion. If you take Flavors from the fire, Coastal Eats, and the Irish booth out of F&W it drops off badly.

I am seriously considering flying down from Ohio next weekend just to go to Epcot for one day for this. The foods look amazing and something different than the standard F&W offerings.

We are just doing a one day trip and only going to Epcot since it's just my husband and me. I am excited about the food offerings but my husband is like meh. Maybe I'll just ditch and eat my way around the world showcase. Only half joking.

Menus will be posted on here and Disney Food Blog has them with pictures.
Did you see that there are "technical difficulties" with some of the booths, delaying opening? Next thing you know, they'll be assigning BGs to visit the food booths and sending Remy around to comfort disgruntled would-be eaters. Hopefully they'll get this figured out before the end of the month, because I intend to chow down on a deconstructed reuben (and with less chaos than trying to get a RoTR BG). Actually, hope they get this figured out for everyone going this weekend!
