HHI Activities for Toddlers?

Traveling at the end of the month with our grown children and our 3 year old grandson. Any suggestions for activities(especially rainy day) on the island that worked for your toddler. also looking for recommendations for toddler friendly restaurants.

The DVC resort has a number of activities for the little ones, including the campfire. There are also movie theaters nearby on the island.

Most restaurants are certainly child friendly. Kingfisher, Scott's Fishmarket, La Fontana, and San Miguels - all an easy walk from the resort - would be fine with little ones (and all have inside and outside dining available).

We've been taking our kids yearly to HHI since they were 2. One of the reasons we love going back is that the beach and ocean are very child friendly, there are no harsh riptides and the water is usually very calm.

The resort has activities for all ages plus there is the "Sandbox" children's museum. (I think that is the name) that would be good for a rainy day. The Coastal Discovery Museum also has programs for children but we always found plenty for them to do right at the resort most days. There are also nice parks on the island to play and you could rent a bike with a child seat.
