Help with banking/borrowing?

I’m wanting to book a stay at my home resort for May 2019.
My use year is September
My current points are:
2017. 0
2018. 31
2019. 110
2020. 110
Total points I need are 193.
(1) Do I need to bank my 2018 points?
(2) when I book my trip in June(11month window) will I be able to use 2018, 2019 and 2020 points since my trip is in 2019 or just 2018 and 2019. Thanks

Your trip falls in the 2019 calendar year, which is meaningless.

May 2019 falls into your Sept 2018 UY - Sept 1, 2018 to Aug 31, 2019.

So you can use current 2018 UY pts plus banked 2017 pts (if there were any) plus borrowed 2019 UY pts when you call at 11 months out.

As the @chalee94 said, you would be in your Sept 2018 UY when booking a May 2019 trip. So, you would be able to borrow the 2020 points. You will have only 141 points (31 from 2018 plus 110 borrowed from 2019) which can be used toward that reservation.

As others have said, you do not have enough point to use 193 in May 2019, even if you purchased the full 24 one time use points. Your options would be to seek a transfer of points from another member, rent a few days reservation from another member, or purchase more points. A 25 point contract (the minimum) should suffice, whether direct or resale.

Thanks! I’m just going to cut my trip down to a week. Don’t know why I was thinking I could use my 2020 points
