Help Universal with Showers Predicted

We are going to hopefully be at Universal next Sunday 10/1 before our Disney Cruise. The weather forecast now (and I realize it can change) calls for showers. How does that effect universal? Can some rides still operate in showers?

Many rides are indoors. In the rain, we liked doing the studios side as within a short hop to each is Jimmy Fallon, Mummy, Transformers, Hogwarts Express (take it both ways), Diagon Alley, MIB. Keep going around the horn and you have Simpsons, ET, Monster Make-Up show. Have fun!!

Universal is probably one of the best parks you could be at if it's raining tbh The majority of the rides are inside so the only problems you'd have would most likely be Rip Rocket, the Woody Woodpecker kiddie coaster and maybe Kang and Kudos's Twirl and Hurl being down for bad weather. At Universal we normally just put our raincoats on and deal with it because there's so much you can still do there.

Islands on the other hand is another story. A lot of the rides are outdoors there but there is still a few things that you could do that are inside if the rain is that bad. Other options would be to hop over to Universal if you have park-to-park tickets and do a few things over there then go back to Islands when the weather is better or go grab some snacks and have look around CityWalk until it stops raining.

Awesome thanks! Yea I plan on just throwing a poncho on and dealing with it since we just have the 1 day there. I'm glad that we will still be able to do a lot. Hopefully the forecast changes or at least it only rains for a short bit. Fingers crossed.
