Someone told me about this after saying I have the hardest problem peeling eggs.BAKE THEM it is so simple and they do not crack like when you boil.I did 2 dozen at one time and they peeled so easy in half the time...:thumbsup2

1

Position the oven racks in the center of the oven.

2

Place the eggs on the racks.

3

Place a baking sheet pan in the bottom of the oven (just in case an egg breaks).

4

Set the oven to 325F, and bake for 30 minutes.

5

When the eggs are done, fill a large bowl with ice water and move the eggs into the bowl.

6

Peel the eggs as soon as they're cool enough to handle, then return them to the ice water to thoroughly chill

Putting the eggs in cold water and then peeling them works if you boil them as well. Peeling a hot egg is nearly impossible.

There is no way to peel a hot egg of coarse.

But 2dozen at once this way (and put them in ice water to cool) is almost impossible to do on the stove in a timely matter.
