On our recent vacation we played golf at 3 courses - LBV, Eagle Pines, and the Palm. Everyone we met was great.
Specific thanks to:
The helpful lady in the pro shop at LBV, who when we stopped by the night before we were playing gave us score cards and a free yardage guide (regular $6). Outstanding!
The starter at Eagle Pines who let us go early, even though he said he wasn't supposed to. Outstanding!
The outside staff and starter at the Palm, who picked one of our group to set the flag on the 18th hole, and then mercilously teased us about where it was set. (All in good fun) Outstanding!
The starter at LBV who was from upstate NY, and reminisced with us about an old girlfriend from Canada. (It's all good!!) Outstanding!
The beverage cart lady at LBV, who took time to talk to us after the round, to make us feel like someday we might actually get the hang of the game. Outstanding!
Kudos also to all the outside staff at the courses, who were always quick to take your golf bag, and have all the carts set up for us, ready to go. Outstanding!
Our golf vacation was so much fun that we're planning to go back again in May. The big part of it was how wonderfully we were treated.
