Getting multiple virtual queues

I've heard about how if you have a party of 2 (or 3 or 4 and so on), if you both have the app downloaded, you can get virtual lines on both accounts. I'm going December 29th-31st by myself, so I don't have that advantage. But I'm wondering, are your virtual queues tied to your Universal account or your specific app on your specific phone? If you had 2 Universal accounts, could you get virtual lines on 1, sign out, sign in to your other account, get virtual queues on that one, and then be signed in to the necessary account when actually using your virtual lines? You don't link your ticket, right? I hope that makes sense.
