Fun but not Magical

Just got back from a 4 day Journey to Disney World with wife and 27yo daughter. We stayed at Bay Lake Tower in a 1 bedroom. Loved the accommodations but we won't be going back until masks are a thing of the past. 85-degree weather that's somewhat humid while wearing a mask equals suffocation. The wait times weren't that bad at any of the parks. We hit the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. The problem is the social distancing while waiting in line. Lines are perhaps 3x as long as normal which has you standing in line in areas that weren't meant for waiting in line. One example is waiting in line to ride Peter Pan that takes you through a shutdown restaurant. Another is waiting in line for Jungle Cruise that actually starts outside of Adventureland...most of the wait is in the beating sun and humidity. Rides that have limited capacity due to social distancing...multiple restaurants that are shut down. Shows shut down. All of the closures and modifications result in one huge mess the equates to a Magicless Kingdom. The aesthetics that make Disney so magical are swallowed up in COVID precautions. We still had fun and we were happy to support the Cast Members BUT we won't return until masks are gone.
