GOT THE NEW RV...sitting in our driveway covered with snow...
gotta do some driving this weekend, not towing this first trip...
leaving 1/4 from LI NY....arrive 1/6 via 95
hoping to get 800 loop.............................

Congratulations on your new RV. If you haven't towed before, it's definitely a good idea not to tow on your first trip. Besides, you won't really need a car if you're staying in FW. We are also planning to leave on 1/4 from Maryland and arrive on 1/5. If you need some advice on I-95 travel, don't hesitate to ask.

INTERESTED in route from maryland ...
any advice which roads best to avoid...
last year did key bridge and 301
probably leaving after midnight on 1/4 to verranzano
must avoid balt/dc traffic....
we usually take two days,
any good spots to spend the night...
used to stay in Holiday Inns on 95 before the rv....

Consider yourself very fortunate. We had our reservation and were to arrive on New Years Eve....unfortunately our TV blew a main bearing....fortunately it was before we left. Unfortunately the TV is old enough it is not worth fixing....fortunately we were not on the road when it occurred.

Oh well...the kids have taken it well....
