We are going to the Florida Keys soon and will be flying. DS15 has type 1 and has flown before, but that was several years ago. We will be taking a bag with all his supplies and extra on the plane with us and we will be taking each one of us a Lunchable snack (without juice). I will also have a lot of Scooby snacks. (the little packs of gummy snacks for emergency carbs)

The flight is only 2 hours from Raleigh to Fort Lauderdale and we will eat shortly before the flights. I don't anticipate any problems, DS has been type 1 for 8 years and generally everything goes smoothly. I just want to be prepared in case of an emergency or extreme situation.

Does anyone has any extra tips for flying w/ your type 1 family member?
