Florida resident?

This is a hypothetical right now. I was saying in the future I would like to buy DVC my husband was saying he would rather buy a house in Disney.

Then we got t talking if you own a home can you qualify for Florida resident, I said no, he said yes with electricity bills and such.

Thoughts?

We were lucky to be able to buy our vacation villa at the bottom of the last recession. We switched to resident AP's using the cable (in DW's name) and water (in my name) bills. We rented it out and vacationed there for a couple of years and once I retired we became Disney snowbirds. For us it was a great decision.
