We've watched the fireworks from the beach before at Fort Wilderness (which is always great) but what about the Once Upon a Time show? Obviously we won't be able to see the projections on the castle, but are the fireworks included in the show worth watching from the beach?

IMO - No!! The projections are at least 'half' or more, of the show. Front and center is the only place that we feel we can get the full effects.

To us, just seeing the fireworks, and not being immersed, just doesn't get it!! There are many who are satisfied just to watch them from a distance though, so only you know if that is what will be enough for you. Enjoy!! :)

Roperkim we go for the full show at least once or twice watching from somewhere in MK that offers a good vantage point of both the fireworks above and projections on the castle. We have also enjoyed them from porch at Narcoossee's porch and windows at O'Hana's. Seeing them from the beach at Ft Wilderness is and this is just our opinion one of our favorite things to do at the Fort. We'll fill our mugs with coffee or hot chocolate add some cookies or pastry and we're set. We've even gotten Take out at P&J's and enjoyed an easy dinner while enjoying them. That's just us
