Planning on It's A Small World, but what are some of the other rides that would be good for a 9 month old baby?

My son was 18 months when we went, so a little older, but Dumbo was his favorite at MK. He also liked Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, the Aladdin carpets, Little Mermaid, the Peoplemover, and small world (as you mentioned). These are all rides I would not hesitate to take a 9 month old on.

As far as shows go, the Enchanted Tiki Room was his favorite. He also seemed to enjoy the Philharmagic. He was neutral on Country Bear Jamboree and did not like Carousel of Progress. The scene from the 20s where they show off electricity and all of the appliances go nuts really startled him.

Our DD loved the Little Mermaid ride. Especially the Under the Sea scene with all of the bright colors!

Also the TTA is a good one as well.

We took Alex on almost everything, but the colors and the music he was always looking around, so I would say It's A Small World, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Pirates, he even liked the Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, Philharmagic, Country Bears,...and on and on.
Literally everything that didn't need a height requirement.

Just about everything without a height requirement is good, the youngest we had on a trip was 11 months, we took her on pretty much everything, and now at 10 she absolutely LOVES rides!

we took our6 month old on, pirates, buzz lightyear, little mermaid, (would have done dumbo but I didn't want to get up on the ride at the time) I think that is all we did but would have done jungle cruise, its a small world.

Buzz Lightyear was a little loud when I rode with a 10 month old. He was completely oblivious to HM being "scary", so no worries about that one either.

Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pooh, People Mover, and even HM. Be careful if plan on riding the train. The whistle really bothered my DD when she was a baby.

We took DS on everything that didn't have a height requirement. He loved experiencing all of it. :)

I took my 6 month old son on everything without a height requirement, except Buzz lightyear. My fiancé really likes to get into it and I didn't want him jerking around that much. He was a bit too small to sit through the shows without fussing, although he slept through Carousel of Progress with no issues. Like others have said, IASW seemed to be his favorite due to all the colors. Little Mermaid was also a hit with him. Overall, he was very easy to tour with :)

Have fun and enjoy Disney World with your little one! I have a feeling our next planned trip when ours is 2 1/2 will not be as easy as it was when he was a babe ;)

having gone with kids of all ages the younger ones enjoyed and were less afraid of rides than the 3 to 4 year olds. would suggest doing a local park before your trip. the baby rode all of rides without height requirement but 4 year old would not a lot of rides

Our (then) 23 month old loved the following: It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Little Mermaid ride (can't recall the name), Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, the carousel, Flying Carpets of Aladdin (favorite), and the train.
    He also enjoyed the characters.

My daughter was a bit older on her first trip, but she just loved Dumbo and Aladdin.
