Just read article about kid size fanny packs,just wanted to relate a little story that happened to me and my 8 yr old niece.We had purchased a fanny pack and my 8 yr old neice was small for her age,the strap hung down a bit and anxious to get to the magic kingdom off we went ,we were getting on people mover -going up the escalator -when her strap caught in under the rail some how,it start pulling around her little stomach and she started screaming- in my panic to get my hand between her stomach and the strap tighting around her ,i threw my weight into the side of the escalator and the end of the strap fell out -after that i bought a back pack and my neices and nephews wore nothing,i would even tie her long hair up at the parks-it scared the hello out of me and several other people on that escalator that day.Strange things do happen.Take care with hanging straps
