I hate rooms with exterior entry because I hate having people walk by my room and look in the windows. In that situation, I feel like I need to keep my drapes closed whenever I'm in the room.
That said, the Disney Vacation Club properties like Disney's Old Key West Resort are set up in a way so that you enter from an exterior entry but the windows face outward. So, you can be in the unit with your drapes open without worrying about people looking inside. (Although, if you're on the ground floor, you'll have a little less privacy because the golfers can look inside.)
