Ever checked into HRH late during a busy time?

Our plane flight has just been changed, so we'll be getting in at 9:30 instead of 11:30 (pm) on Dec. 26, but I would assume with getting luggage, rental car, etc, we still won't get to HRH until 11 or so, right? I had to go through hoteldiscounts.com to get only two nights (supposed 4 night minimum during the holidays), so I know the ressie probably won't be in the system until the 24th or so. I do plan on calling ahead to inform of late check-in, but I'm still nervous. Anyone checked in late during a busy period like this?
