Elephants / rhino encounters at AK

Has anyone done the caring for giants (elephants) or the rhino one at AK? would love to hear your thoughts and experiences

Yes, we did elephants earlier this year. You get a great view behind the scenes, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, and learn a lot about the individual elephants and their family dynamic. You don't get a hands on experience, but get to see them from a private view point the other side of the "Savannah". There were only 8 people in our group, so loads of time to ask questions if you have them. We thought it was worth the money, especially as it goes towards elephant conservation.

Hi Laura, we did the caring for giants last year and I've also done the Africa Trek. both are highly recommended and a great addition to a day at AK

We were able to do the CFG just after the calf was born and were able to get some great photos. For the price it's unbeatable. Will be looking to try the rhino experience in April so would love to hear peoples feedback
