Does it take longer to get from this hotel to the parks, water parks than it does from the POFQ to these areas? It seems like all of the stops and transfers would eat up lots of time. Why is there no direct bus to Typhoon Lagoon and how do you get there by way of Downtown Disney? Bus transfer?

The Dolphin bus route is the same as the other resorts regarding DD/TL. I believe A.M. to early afternoon it stops at TL first, then DD. Regardless of the stopping order you do not have to transfer to another bus. The bus transportation at S/D has been very efficient when we have stayed there. The only long wait we ever had was for DD at night, and this was also true for POR. You have the added benefit of being able to walk or boat to Epcot & the Studios. We've stayed 4 times at POR & 6 times in the Crescent Lake area & have had little to complain about transportation-wise at any of the resorts. We would really miss the DD boat at POR if that turns out to be gone permantly.
