I've done some searching and can't find an answer one way or the other. So sorry if this has been asked/answered before.

At DLP, is there a limit to the number of fastpasses you can get in a day? Or can you keep getting one after the other provided they are available?

Yes you can get as many as you want provided they are available but you can only hold one at a time or wait at least 2 hours providing which time is first.
Eg you collect a FP for Space mountain at 11.00 but the return time isnt until 3pm so you can collect another one at 1.00 (2 hours after the collection time) but if the return time is 11.30 you can collect another at 11.30

Thanks for the response. So just to clarify though based on your explanation:

Say at 11:00 am I get a FP for Space Mountain with a return time at 3:00

Are you saying I can get another FP for a different attraction at 1:00 (2 hours later)? Like say a FP for BTMRR with a return time of like 5:00?

So I would indeed be holding 2 FPs now, the Space Mountain with return time at 3:00 and BTMRR with a return time at 5:00?

Yes thats right - you have to either wait 2 hours to collect another or until the return time

In this example you might even end up using the 2nd FP first if the return time for the 2nd one (in your example BTMRR) is a short time

You cant hold 2 FP for the same ride though so couldnt get another for Space after 2 hours it has to be for another ride

    Awesome. Thanks!

This will make for a very interesting (and/or unpredictable) touring plan :p

    Are you staying onsite?

If so some of the FP rides can be done during EMH (Space, Buzz, Peter Pan) so no need to use FP for them

Indiana Jones rarely needs a FP and neither does Flying Carpets in the studios.
Ratatouille is much better doing single rider if you can - its much quicker than FP and you often end up in the same rat anyhow

Nope. Won't be staying on site. Will also be going at quite a busy time of year (Next August). This site has been very interesting in terms of looking at the crowds and ride queue times throughout the day to try and get an idea of what I might expect next August during the same time period: https://queue-times.com/parks/4/open_periods/5732

Will be some fun planning over the next 1/2 year

    Thanks again for your resposnes.

I've had really good success using RideMax for Disneyland and WDW making custom itineraries. The Unoffical Guide Book (Touring Plans website) unfortunately doesn't cover DLP. I wonder if rider order/patterns for something like the Magic Kingdom would work equally well for DLP Disneyland Park? So many of the same rides are at each, and one could perhaps use equivalent "E" ticket rides in the planning (e.g. do them early in the day). Will also be looking through this forum over the next nine months for suggested order of rides (we're looking at going the last week of August).

If staying on-site, the hotel fastpass is good for one ride at any time?

As I look through the different attractions that we want to do, and what their queue times were last August during the period we're planning to go, I really don't see an issue being able to put together an easy general touring plan and be able to do everything we want to do inside of a day.

Other than Crush's Coaster though. Always looks to be a huge wait, on-site folks having early entry, and no FP. So can't even rope drop that one if we wanted. I guess if we really want to do it will have to be to bite the bullet and wait potentially 60+ min. I guess there is single rider line to make it a bit more feasible.

The hotel fastpass is only available for
    1. Club level guests at Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay
    2. Standard rooms at Disneyland Hotel

    The hotelfastpass
    1. Given to you when you checkin
    2. 1 per day per guest
    3. Dated for each day of your stay, with the hotel name and lead person of the party, ie the person who the room is booked under
    4. Can only be used on rides that are part of the regular fastpass system
    5. Can not be used during the hours of 1pm and 4pm

To add to the FP discussion:

    • Once you book a FP, you cannot book another one for two hours, unless the time of your first FP is earlier.
    • It is advised to get a new FP before riding the attraction, to maximize the numbers of FP.
    • If there is anything wrong with the FP machine, go ask a CM. They have special powers to accommodate the sometimes failing machines.
    • You can only have one FP at any park, but you can have 2 FP in each parks.
    • You can also have a 3rd FP for Indiana Jones.
    • Now that EMH are gone and EMT replace them, you can grab FPS as soon as the park opens at 8:30am.
    • If you are in a suite or in the Castle Club, you have VIP FPs that are valid at 10:30am onwards, in every attraction with the FP system, even if it is not open for that day. If you go back at night and the FP entrance is already closed, you can use the handicapped entrance.

And if the CM uses it's powers, they often don't scan your ticket, so you get an extra fast pass

I will respectfully slightly correct this :

Hotel fast passes are limited to 1 per person per day and are (officially) valid all day except from 1 to 4pm -beeing a former attraction employee I must confess I never applied this rule)
These are given to guests staying in standard and "deluxe" rooms at DLH which are not included in the Castle Club rooms -Club level if you prefer :)-
    empire state rooms at DNY
    Golden Forest rooms at DSL
    Compass Club rooms at DNPBC

The VIP fast pass (unlimited access to FP lanes from opening till -officially- 2 hours before park closing time available to guests staying in suites of DNY, DSL, DNBPC and the Castle Club of DLH

Not sure if you implied that guests staying in a standard room at the Empire State Club, Golden Forest Club or Compass Club are given a FP hotel. It used to be the case at the ESC but it no longer is, the DLH is the last hotel to give such FP.

The website states that all guests staying in the "club" levels of selected hotels listed in my previous post are given a Disney hotel fastpass.

Here is the link to the official website : http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/guest-services/fast-pass/

just got back from a stay at a golden forest room at Seq . Got 1 hotel FP per person per day. Could not use between 1 and 4. Since we were leaving early on Thursday we were allowed to use that days on Wednesday . That is not the rule but the cast member was nice enough to allow it. Think we used 4 of the 5 days worth of those FP on big thunder mountain :) .

Thank you @microsan and @dvc cruiser. I think I was way too tired when I hit “Post Reply” the last time.

Of course CL guests receive an Hotel FP. It is the VIP FP which was taken away from the ESC.

I'm a little confused... I'm familiar with the way FP works in WDW, so this is all new to me. How do you get FP for Paris? Is it through the app as well, or are they hard tickets? Are the hotel ones the same thing?

You getFP for Paris by inserting your park ticket at the machine beside the rides. You get a paper ticket FP. You can only get the FP for on the day once you are inside the park.

As far as I know the AP just gives information, you can not get digital FP only hard tickets.

No the hotel FP are not the same thing. The hotel FP are extra, for specific types of hotel guests only. You can not buy them separately. They are paper hard tickets which are printed by the hotel reception when you check in.
