Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Value is sooooo objective.
While I would never stay BC CL again, I'm willing to try YC.
We are staying at CR in February and that to me WAS a no brainier! The lounge, food, ability to go from MK back to

I think it would be fabulous to have a "friends" trip. Although I have never stayed at BWI (that clown pool still freaks me out, but I'm hoping to get over it, lol) it gets A LOT of love here on the Dis. In fact, if we stay in an Epcot resort again, I'm thinking we would stay BWI over YC. (Never again BC for us either)
I think you would probably love it!
And I'm positive your kids would love hanging with their friends on vacation!

I feel the same about friends. However, we hated BC and swore never to return. Can't decide if we didn't like the epcot area, if BC was just that awful or we just love the Poly that much. What's better then having an adult beverage with friends poolside at disney though.
Decisions decisions

We were at WDW mid July and I was surprised at how manageable the crowds were this year. I was worried that we would be both hot and miserable in crowds as this was our first summer trip, but crowds were really not a problem for us at all. The heat was rough, but that would be the same mid-July or end-August.
I completely agree. We just did our third July summer and found crowds very manageable.

Quick question on timing. We usually go the last week or two of August for lower crowds. As you know we just came back from the Bahamas. My kids now tell me they want to go to disney earlier in the summer and don't want to go the end if August because it's nice having time before school starts. Do you think the crowds will be that much more at the end of July vs end of August? Will I be miserable? I have the poly booked for August already. I suppose I could make one for earlier and cancel. That also brings me to my next question. I have friends staying BWI the end of July. If we go the same week it would be nice staying near them. We hated BC. Enjoyed walking to epcot but if I did BWI to be in the same hotel (2 sets of friends, we are all friends) would I like it? I know it gets great reviews but we really missed poly last trip. But how nice would ut be for the kids to have friends to swim with and for us to have friends to drink with by the pool. Decisions. I'm so confused.
Poly is my absolute favorite but BWI is my second favorite and my DHs favorite. BWI is a lot of fun and it sounds really great being able to hang out with friends!

Come early July! :-)

I have really liked the crowds that time of year the past two years.

(I acknowledge that was not an option in your question!)

Which day are you doing mnsshp? I see in your signature your dates close to mine.

The nespresso. lol I can't see before my first cup so I just ask and cm or guest that comes to close to me and I bug them , I mean ask nicely for help. I drink the regular coffee but sometimes that has run out or a family me,bet asks me to grab,

I will be down there Sept 18-Sept 24, MNSSHP on Sun Sept 23rd.

Well, we are really enjoying our first ever Club Level stay!!! We arrived at the BC around 9:00am and were taken up to 5th floor and checked in, then offered breakfast. We had crepes with strawberry sauce and chocolate shavings, hard boiled eggs, pastry, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, berries (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry mix), watermelon, melon, granola ... so many choices. It was a great way to start our day. We went into Epcot 11-2, had lunch at Le Cellier (2 of us) and Via Napoli (2 of us) to use up dining credits from first resort stay. Rode Test Track, Soarin', Spaceship Earth and shopped at Mouse Gears. Enjoyed snacks in lounge at 4, had a swim in SAB, then at 6:30pm had apps (pork and polenta, salads, build your own macaroni and cheese bar, apples with caramel dip, Kona Longboard/wine/pop (served by CM), walked into Epcot for Illuminations- so beautiful! Then at 9:30pm got smores squares, mini cupcakes, warm dutch apple desserts, cookies and really good ice cream! Had another glass of wine (self serve). We are closest room to the lounge with a day bed- exactly what I requested! So pleased. Offered turn down service but in room so they just gave us chocolates (white chocolate Ghiradelli treats). Really loving it! I think we will just do a late lunch table service for the next few days and that will be all we need with the food in the lounge. It's really incredible for first timers- now I only want to do club stays lol! Thanks to all of you for your advice prior to our stay - but I may be hooked! Already loved the BC with location, now CL has put it over the top for us!

Sounds like a great stay! Thanks for posting and enjoy the rest of your trip!

We are going to be arriving at MCO at 5:30am, so I anticipate arriving at AKL around 7:30am. I know our room won't be ready, but is there any chance we will be able to get some breakfast at the CL lounge? I was thinking no, but the post above about getting breakfast at 9am at BC CL gives me hope.

I have to say - I feel the same way now. We are here now and the weather has been manageable - not that much rain. We had 3 days of no rain at all. Also the crowds have been not bad except for MK at times. Shockingly HS has not been bad at all. Toy Story Mania and Alien Swirling Saucers had less than a 30 minute wait each at around 7pm the other night - and it hadn't rained.

Yes. You will have access right away, you do not need to wait until your room is ready to use the lounge. You likely will need someone to escort you upstairs, as more often than not your magic band won't work in the elevator right away since the 6th floor is controlled access and there are often issues getting the elevators to work if you haven't used your band to open your door yet, but either the front desk or the CL desk upstairs if you get someone to bring you up to check in can make sure you have access. As of January breakfast was served until 10:30am. You also have access to the lounge until midnight of your check out day.

Sounds like you had a great time. Looking forward to your food pics :goodvibes.
Thanks - I am hoping to post them soon.

I can't wait to see all the pictures!! Would love to see room pictures too if you have them. Not staying in a 2 bedroom this time, but would love to know for future reference!
It was a wonderful room - so lovely. I will post pictures.

We’ve been end of August people for the last few years. Sure it’s been hot but I never remember it being as bad as I was thinking it would be. We went end of June this year and good golly, was it HOT. Now granted it could be the same hot as August and I’m forgetting. June was also much more crowded than end of August.

July with your friends would be fun. Any way you slice it, summer would be hot, but what better way to cool down than some pina colada pool time with friends.

We have 4 resorts I guess you could say tied for 1st in our books, BC/YC WL GF, BW could possibly be there if they had a direct bus to and from the parks that’s really the only thing is the bus loop there since we visit MK and AK a lot maybe it has changed though.

My Dear Grandfather sailed on the Great Lakes on the big ships and the BC/YC will always hold a special place in my heart just for this reason because of the theming.

Sounds like you’re having a blast!!!

Us too! We always stay an.extra night to make sure we have one full resort day and one non park day for dh to golf and for the kids and I to shop at disney springs (while he golfs). Disney is exhausting and we neer time to relax.

I agree, Disney can be very exhausting...lol....but staying CL and having a lounge to go back to anytime you want is a nice perk :goodvibes.

I have friends staying BWI the end of July. If we go the same week it would be nice staying near them. We hated BC. I had my first BWI stay this past June I LOVED it!! The Poly is my favorite resort, but I have to say that BWI is a very close second (tied with GF). We stayed CL and after reading so many great/positive reviews about it, I was hoping I would like it but I was trying to go into it without too high of expectations so I wouldn't be disappointed. Well, I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back! I know everyone's opinion/experience is different, but if you end up doing the same week as your friends, I think BWI is worth a try. We've also stayed at the BC and while it was ok, it's not one of our favorites and one we really have no desire to return to. Good luck! :)

That's a great reason, IMO, to try BWI with friends ::yes:: :drinking1.

For sure! :beach: :drinking1

I’m at WDW now and it’s hella HOT!!! Mid 90s with a “feels like” around 105!

The crowds are manageable, but we’ve spent much more time indoors (and in the Club Lounge) than we intended!

Sounds like a great time, even with the heat ::yes::.

Got up this morning and had a lovely breakfast in the lounge - today they had bacon and cheddar crustless quiche for a different hot dish. We then walked into Epcot when it opened, rode Soarin' and came back to room before 10am to get the teens up to have breakfast- we had a coffee and fruit with them. So nice to have this freedom. They are so helpful in the lounge. We are going to do pool time today, ESPN for a late lunch (watch the Jays / Yankees game) and then go into Epcot around 6-9pm tonight. We have FP for Illuminations seating tonight. We love Illuminations!
BTW @trishadono no more taffy at Concierge desk of BC (just hard mint type candy in blue wrapper) but they do have the jars of taffy, kisses, starburst, jolly ranchers in lounge.

Glad you are enjoying your BC CL stay! Sounds like you may be in the same room as we were in June. Closest room to lounges 3rd door ( start of hallway past conceirge desk ).
Have a fantastic stay!!!
