Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I can confirm that bus transportation from WL is available early! We caught a bus a little after 7 and were (im)patiently waiting for EMM by 7:30! While we were waiting, I am pretty sure buses for all 3 other parks came. I know I saw at least 2. The bus is definitely a viable option!

@KrazeeK120 , oh my, I may just have to book this holiday 2018 WL CL stay NOW! I'm so pleasantly surprised by what I hear. While it may not be a monorail resort, it sounds like CM interaction and CL offerings are superb with such a small club level! Thank you for this info!

So here's my final thoughts on our BWI CL stay this past weekend. It was a quick stay for our anniversary and things did not start off well. We drove and arrived at 3pm, no room ready text. At the gate the attendant said oh, drive right on up and we'll have someone waiting for you. I even heard him radio it up. So we unload the car, only one bag so we didn't need bell services and there's no one there. So we head inside and I tell the first cast member I see, "we're staying in club level, where do I check in?" they say oh just stand in this line.....with 20 people that just got off DME! So I ask 2 more people and they say the same thing. So we wait and finally make it to check in and then they say, oh you need to go upstairs....arrrg. Upstairs we go with a wonderful man Jim. We are checking in and he sees that it's our anniversary and Jim tells the CM oh they need some buttons. Jim leaves and the CM looks at us and says do you really want buttons? We say well, yeah?! He throws two buttons at us with a marker and says here, you can write something if you want to. REALLY?!!!!!
Anyways, after that it was all up hill. We ended up having a fantastic stay. All CMs were great. The food offerings were top notch. Chef Redgie went above and beyond our last night. He came up to me and asked if our kids had enough to eat because he would like to make them something. I told him that wasn't necessary but he insisted. Shortly after he brings them their own bowl of homemade caramel and sliced apples. That was just the icing on the cake for us. We loved BWI CL so much that we called on the way home to see if we could switch our reservation next month from BC CL to BWI CL and we were able to do so! We just knew BWI set the bar so high, it would be hard to go anywhere else.
Oh and we had slippers but no foot cream.
Something else I forgot to add was that anytime we were leaving for the parks, the CMs asked if we wanted waters. They were the small dasani ones, which were perfect for the parks. Also in the afternoons they had make your own trail mix with bags.

After another day I still miss Poly. We did walk home from Star Wars fireworks which was nice. The lounge offerings were nice tonight. I don't feel the level of warmth here. We have it noted we are celebrating our 15th anniversary and no mention of it. Just different then the poly.
The minnie vans are only accessible from the epcot resorts for pick ups in terms of hotels. At MK you can get one and it will take you to any resort. I don't know about the other parks or Disney springs. I didn't see any leaving HS tonight though. I'll report back as I learn more.

This was our experience when we did our Poly/YC split.

I know people ask all of the time, is CL "worth it"? At BWI, I can say from a purely financial standpoint, yes. We normally would eat at least 2 table service meals per day. Plus a bottle of water here, popcorn or rice Krispy treat there, it really adds up. For 3 days, our only expense was our anniversary dinner (if it wasn't our anniversary, we wouldn't have eaten this) and a lunch at sci-fi. That's it! No drinks, no snacks.

With that being said, CL is "worth it" for so many more reasons in our opinion. The extra space to spread out in the lounge instead of being cooped up in the room is golden. Also the convenience of the lounge is great, no lines at a food court to stand in to grab a quick breakfast, drink or snack. We like having multiple CMs that we can ask for something instead of trekking across the resort to the front desk. So why do you all stay CL?

Definitely convenience. Every time we don't stay CL, I end up missing it so much. It's just so convenient to grab breakfast in the lounge and get drinks there, etc. Then, I don't have to think about the prices of food and drinks when I go. When I'm out at the park and I see the cost of OJ, fruit and milk, I'm like OMG! that's just so expensive and will hold off until back at the hotel. I'm so cheap if I have to actually see the prices. lol I think it's so much less stressful getting breakfast in the lounge then going to a QS.

Ha! I could tell the same exact story about Poly CL last summer, especially the button part. It was DD2's BD and the CM did the same thing... 'here's a button and marker, you're on your own.' I probably wouldn't have even thought twice about it if not for the CL CM a year earlier who did a button for DS's 5th with a bunch of patterns/small mickeys/birthday candles - it was cool and a lasting keepsake. I get not every CM is going to have the same art/handwriting talents, but still. Funny the small, seemingly inconsequential things we all notice as part of the experience.

Glad the rest of your anniversary trip was a success. 9 out of 10 posts about BWI seem to always have me drooling at the food offerings!

With three adults my vote would be the YC. I haven't stayed at the BC but would if it was available and the YC wasn't. We love the YC, second only to GF RPC, it has even pushed the Poly back to 3rd place. I love the new rooms they look like something you would find in a real New England YC. I like the BWI but it would be my 3rd Epcot area resort pick. You can't go wrong with any of them just depends on what theme appeals to you the most. The lounge food is the same at the YC and BC it is just the theme that is different, they are sister resorts. What I don't like about the BWI is the distance of some of the rooms to the lounge...some are even outside of the CL area. It is hike to get to the CL area then another hike to the lounge. Don't get me wrong we did enjoy our stays there and the lounge CM's are awesome as other PP's have said. They all have their pros and cons.

@Maxie86...a little late on this thank you, but thank you. :) I appreciate the opinion.

I couldn't imagine coming to the BC after leaving poly in the same trip! We are at.ohanasast night and when we walked in my 13yo said, now we are home! Even my kids miss it.

As for Minnie vans. We left ohanas and I called an uber. Just then a Minnie van showed up. We asked about it. He said as long as we are registered we could call one from anywhere. We shall see. Uber was amazing as well. Waited less then 5 minutes both times we called. The same was true for the Minnie vans. Last night my 10 to said, oh, I get it now, they look like minnie! Silly kid

Just leaving Rpc from a week visit. We had a great room overlooking the castle. Great view of fireworks and music was piped in every night. The lounge was great. Waffles most mornings, always plenty of snacks. We weren't there every night but the nights we were we saw a chef. There were two warm options and a warm kids option. Also veggies, cheeses, 3 chef special cold apps, and crackers. Beer/wine bar every night but we were told at check in if we wanted anything anytime let them know. Deserts at night were cheesecakes, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, fruit tarts, cannolis, rice krispie treats and a special desert each night. Lounge was never overly crowded and there was plenty of food. Rooms were clean and everyone was very nice. Let me know if anyone has any questions and I will try to answer. It was a great week.

Where did you watch fireworks from with music?

I just posted on the CR thread, but I need to do a detailed review. The short version is that I LOVE ATRIUM CLUB! More than GF! Maybe tied with BWI. The food, the view from the lounge, the CMs, and Rosa Regale. LOVE LOVE LOVE. The hospitality suite was by far the nicest room I've stayed in, even nicer than our YC 2 bedroom suite! Simply gorgeous. Thank you to @trishadono for the pros/cons list, for us there were NO cons. The microwave drawer! I bought popcorn just to try it :)

@mickeynut1 , THANK YOU yet again for answering my post! I always appreciate your awesome responses! It's great to hear you've had good luck with transportation at WL. My fingers are crossed we could grab a bunk-bed room- that would be even better!

You're welcome! :goodvibes

You will love the WL! Hope you are able to get a bb room :wizard:.

It just sounds to me like WL is a little underrated and overlooked, because the more I research it, the more I think it's going to be wonderful!!!!

I agree! The WL is amazing, but I also think it's underrated. It's a beautiful resort and is a great alternative (price-wise) to the monorail resorts, IMO :).

(From our recent stay at the Contemporary Atrium Club Level stay ) I am so sorry but I don't drink beer so I'm not sure what brands were available. I do know the beer was not kept in the fridge. In the fridge they had soda, apple juice boxes and chocolate milk. We just had to ask for bottled water and they went and got it for us out back. We had a late flight the day of our departure and we asked if we could use the lounge after check out. They said of course we could and our magic bands would work in the elevator to get us up to the 12th floor until midnight on our check out day and they worked perfectly for us. The servers and concierge's were all so friendly and helpful. We had stayed last April at the Grand Floridian outer building (Sugarloaf). I noticed a big difference in amenities and the service since that stay (when they were doing many cutbacks with club level). First we were greeted when we got off the Magical Express bus this time and were escorted up to our room and shown around. There were always plenty of staff available for questions. The biggest difference I saw were with the in room amenities. I just love these "extras" and was so happy with them. We received slippers (2 pair) and larger 2 ounce Sea Marine shampoo, Sea Salt conditioner, Sea Salt body wash and body lotion, mouthwash, vanity kit with cotton pads, q-tips, nail file, shower cap, a 3 ounce Coppertone SPF50 suntan lotion, peppermint foot lotion (so nice after walking in the parks all day!) and solar relief gel that smells so good and works really well. Last April when we were in Sugar Loaf we weren't greeted, didn't receive any slippers and only had 1 each of the tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash that was it for in room amenities (they were replaced when we ran out). For sure a step up. Does anyone know that has recently stayed at other club level resorts if all of these are now standard in all club level rooms? For the evening appetizers there was always a hot soup, one hot appetizer and one cold one along with the other standard offerings. I loved how the room was located on the same floor as the lounge, super easy! All the staff in the lounge we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was perfect, and we had turndown service every night with chocolates on our pillow. (Love this touch! It's so nice coming back to in the evening after a long day at the parks). We were able to watch the electrical water pageant each night right off our balcony (we could hear the music too) at 10:15PM. They also gave us a number that we could text the concierge if we had any questions or needed anything while we weren't at the resort. Such a great stay!

Thanks for your review. Glad you had a great time :goodvibes.

I absolutely loved WL CL. The only other CL I've stayed at is BWI, and that's because I'd gotten a free upgrade. If it's ever in my budget to do CL again, I will be returning to WL, no question. I don't even need to try anywhere else.

WL CL is amazing! Glad you enjoyed it :goodvibes.

Your post has me all:surfweb: searching the WDW website for WL CL availability..... :goodvibes

Me, too, as we're considering a Dec 2018 trip and WL CL is at the top of the list ::yes::.

I agree with your post to another Disboarder- I'm checking WL CL availability myself! But it's all booked up for this holiday, so it's going #1 on our list for a 2018 Bounceback for sure!

WL is a great choice for Christmas time! I hope it's available under the BB for your dates :wizard:.

Some of the best, IMO :thumbsup2.

The Poly is easy to miss. We stayed at the BC prior to staying at the Poly and while we had a nice BC stay, we weren't wow'd like we were at the Poly. I'm glad we tried the BC, but I know I would have been disappointed and missed the Poly terribly if we tried the Poly and then went to BC :rolleyes1.

Hi pas

Glad you had a great time! Looking forward to your review :goodvibes.

Yep, this will be our one and only BC stay. It's nice but no wow factor for me at all.

We head to RPC in a few weeks. Were you met outside? If not, where do you check-in? Could you hear the music from your room? TIA
