It goes up and down. I've managed to get to the step where I should pay, but the page doesn't load.

I actually managed to get to the "pay" site. I have received a confirmation mail for the payment, no waiting (i.e. hoping for) the mail confirming the registration.

I will NEVER complain about the "normal" Rundisney registration process again. Ever. :badpc:

Same! The 20 minutes for the US booking vs nearly 4 hours that this one took me to book. Wow!

Got my bibs for the challenge. 10k + half marathon.

I've got it too. After this, actually running the half marathon will be the easy part.

So I've paid (and received a receipt) for the challenge and the 5k! No confirmation email yet though... :S

Now I just need to sort out my annual leave to make sure I can make it for the run...

Anyway - does anyone have any advice for getting the medical certification? I can probably ask a doctor to sign/write one, but then there's something about translation into French which they almost certainly won't be able to do... How did you all get yours last year?

Last year they had a template, I believe. I printed it and took it to my doctor, explained what I needed and he signed it without any hesitation. He must have made a note in my chart, because at my appointment with him following the race, he asked me if it was a good one.

Thanks! Will see if I can get a doctor to sign the form. (I read a blog where someone in my area had difficulty last year, fingers crossed will be able to get this signed off...)

Anyone who did the kick-off party last year??
My bff and I decided to do it this year, we've worked hard to save for the trip and kindda wanted to do everything :p

I read a trip report from last year and they were very pleased with it and thougt it was great. They said there was also free food and a lot of great m&g.

Just wanted to hear other experiences from last year :)

We did it last year. The meal was an issue, but it gave a bunch of ride time to a limited number of people. It isn't on my list this year. One and done.

I heard the food was half-frozen for many party guests. If you're looking for all-around value, you might be disappointed.

Oh well..... this doesn't sound like it was a great experience :scared: thanks for your inputs!
But there was food last year, right? I anticipated (almost) walk-on rides, music and lots of great photo oppportunities and free food and drinks (from what I had read about last year). But on my confirmation it says "meal not included", so I'm not sure what to expect. I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Ah, I see. I looked it up, and last year's "inaugural party" started at 7:30, cost 79€, and served dinner. You'll get to test out this new event and tell us about it. :)
