Awesome! we want to join. Please, let us know when you start the list. How was your Sept 30th cruise, anything new on the Wonder?
Ok cool, I usually start making a rough list about 150 days out and then finalize list 45 days from sailing but am totally open for input. Ive run the disboards FE group on all our sailings and its always fun!

September 30 seems so far away already. It was a glorious trip on my favorite ship! We noticed the update to after hours/parrot restaurant-tiana's place/missing stairwell in atrium since we hadn't been aboard since those updates. Having the Wonder decorated for Halloween really added to the excitement and am very very excited to see how it is decorated for Christmas. Besides the dry dock updated stuff it was my same favorite ship with amazing service. I really love the Wonder!

Glad the Wonder is still her old self. She is the only ship we have sailed on with Disney so I guess you could say she is our favorate as well. We kinda miss Parrot Cay though. We would love to see her Halloween decorations but since we live in Texas, we prefer to cruise out of Galveston and by the time she starts cruising out of Galveston every year she already has been decked out for Christmas.

150 days sounds like a good time to start the FE to me. Thanks for stepping up to start the list. :fish:

Tiana's place is cool and the event they have at dinner in the dining room is super cute, especially for little ones. It's nice to have some extra Disney magic at dinner!!

I heard that they just updated the agreement in Galveston so that is good news for you @Stefileslie85 !!

Yes, I saw that article. Looks like Disney will eventualy more than double its cruises out of Galveston. We are excited! now to hit the lotto so we can double the amount of DCL cruises we take. We are hoping for some shorter more reasonably priced cruises that we can take in between the longer ones we usually take every 2 or 3 years.

Thanks for all the fish extender links, they all have really good info. We have been having fun deciding what our gifts will be this cruise. Can't wait to get started making/buying them. :artist:

    Hello all,

This will be my wife and my second Disney cruise and our daughter's first and the whole family's first trip to Castaway Cay. Do any of you veteran cruisers have any input on what the odds are of us not making it to Castaway due to weather? I've seen a few youtubers and forum posts mention that this is a possibility with winter cruises. Is it just luck of the draw? Thanks in advanced and Nov. 29 can't come soon enough!

This will be our 3rd time on this same cruise and it will be our 4th and 5th time to Castaway Cay. We have not had to skip it yet for weather or anything else. I think as long as the wind is not crazy we should be fine on this cruise as well. But it's always the luck of the draw with weather. At least we have a second chance on this cruise if we are unable to dock the 1st Castaway day. Come on November 29th!! 🙂⏳

Awesome! Thank you for reassuring me. I was just nervous because this is such an exciting trip for us and we don't want to miss out on the fun of Castaway Cay! Looking forward to that snorkeling!

Just booked this cruise today. It's our 2nd Disney cruise and we're extremely excited to sail on the Wonder. We sailed on the Dream last December and it was a perfect trip. Our little one loves Tiana and watches the movie regularly, so seeing her in person and eating in her restaurant are sure to be highlights.

Since we booked so late we're wait listed for early dining, so hopefully that comes through. We're only 3 cruisers and don't mind sitting with other people so fingers crossed it comes though.

Welcome! Tiana's Place is pretty cool. Our kids love seeing Tiana and Louis at dinner. We were on the waiting list for early dining our last cruise and were notified by dcl that we would be moved to early dining about 16 weeks before the cruise. I assume people are pulled from the wait list as early dinning slots become available so I guess it could happen any time. Good luck. 🙂

Yeah the hope is that they put is with a family of 5, because we're a family of 3. (it seemed there were quite a few tables of 8 in the dining rooms. It's what happened on the Dream last December for us. We found out about getting early dining about a week before the cruise in that case.
