Part 7: Park Hopping To and Fro
We continued our "wild" time (I wonder how many times that pun has been made since opening) at Animal Kingdom with a ride on the Navi River Journey. Sure this ride is a lot shorter than I would have liked and I will probably never ride it without a Fast pass BUT I really think it is a beautiful ride! One of the most beautiful rides to look at in my opinion. And that animatronic is absolutely incredible to look at!
After the river journey we went to an all time favorite between my sister and I which is the Festival of the Lion King. This show is SO well done and the like singing and dancing and acrobats and everything literally give me LIFE when I watch it. I could watch it 5 times a day and still want to watch it just once more!
After a bit more frolicking through Animal Kingdom we decided we needed some adult beverages and here is where I made a HUGE mistake. We were at the refreshment bar by Expedition Everest and me and my mom couldn't decide what we wanted. I, totally not reading the sign right, THOUGHT I ordered a angry orchard type drink. Like a sweet hard cider. BOY WAS I WRONG. I read "dark ale" as like Disney for hard cider (can you tell I am not a beer drinker in the slightest lol!) and my face when I first took a sip was total disgust! But my mom got some margarita thing and didn't care for it so gave it to my sister. My mom was on the hunt for her Jack Daniels and frozen coke. Thankfully after the long hard search (thanks google) I found exactly where to go and all was well.
As we were drinking, we got to talking and decided we had done everything in Animal Kingdom that we desired to and it was time to head to my old home park, Hollywood Studios! This park is definitely my moms favorite and I have a strong addiction to it since it is where my College Program home was so I was a okay with this decision. We got a fast pass for Tower of Terror and headed to the bus station. Thankfully we did not have to wait long and we were on our way to the studios!
We had an absolutely joyous afternoon at Hollywood Studios since it wasn't very crowded (I think it was because Toy Story Land was opening in two days but that is just me). We got to ride Tower of Terror twice, Rockin Roller Coaster AND I took my mom and sister to the Frozen Sing A Long. They had never been and they were a little skeptical at first but the were in tears the whole time from laughing! Seriously, if you have not seen that show yet you HAVE to! It is a riot and fun for all ages, I promise you.
