Disney Gift Card Deals

Question about the Chase offers ar Staples... DH and I have a Chase Freedom that we are co-owners (is that the word for it?) of, meaning I’m not an authorized user- it’s in both our names.
When adding the Chase offers to the card, I have a 5% back offer at Staples added when viewed under my account. That is the only offer for Staples I can see when logged in as me. When I view under DH’s account, this same card has a 15% back at Staples offer added. There is no 5% offer visible while logged in as him.

My question is, if I go to Staples and use his card, will they somehow apply the 5% offer instead of the 15%?

Just seems odd that it’s the same card but has two different offers to the same place.

It has not in the past as the charge to your AmEx will come through as PayPal and not Madewell, so it won't trigger the offer.

Well that's interesting and possibly a unique situation they didn't expect to happen often. Other than the name printed on the card, is there anything different between your cards? I'd think if there's something that identifies the cards individually, like a different CVV number shown, then it might have a way to differentiate the offers and you'd get 15% back using his and the 5% using yours.
If not there's a possibility you'd get both or just whichever was added first. But if you used his and only got 5% it's a strong case to get Chase to make it right. I think you are the guinea pig here.

There aren’t any deals for the end of July right now, but if you check back before your trip I’m sure somebody here will post. You will need a Kroger Plus card account to get any of the deals and they normally involve fuel points so you might check in advance to see where you might be able to use your fuel points.

Everything is exactly the same on both cards with the exception of our names. I loaded the 15% first so I will try it out and see. I’ll report back...

To finish up what I said in the last post, after 5 days of calling target and getting the same runaround as others (wait 24 hours, call again, we will resend it, etc.) I finally got someone at Target who said the 3rd party company they use for the gift cards (I can't remember if it was Blackhawk or giftcardmall) has a way of resending the egift cards from a different email address that they usually use in situations like this. They did that, and I got the gift card in my email a few hours later (but 5 days after I had ordered it).

So for anyone still having this problem, the next time you call target you might want to ask them if they can try this.

I'm gonna have to try this when I go back home. Havent received anything since I purchased on Friday 7:30am

I converted my last $300 of happy cards to Disney at Home Depot yesterday. All cards had the new language. Did separate transactions of $100 at self checkout without problems. I also noticed that the new cards have the card number covered with a sticker so it isn’t exposed. I always thought it was odd not to have it covered up.

I think someone posted some Kroger deals for this week but the promotions must vary by area. I was at Kroger today and there were no gift card deals. Sometimes a poster on this forum will post a Kroger deal that shows up online for them but when I log in to my account I don’t see the same deals. You will probably just have to check with the store near where you will be.
 
UPDATE: I called Target right now. They again gave me the "we working on it right now" When they asked when I needed it I told them I needed it before last weekend. Got transferred to the gift card specialist. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes then I got the email with my $500 gift card. She said she would send me a $25 Target gift card as an apology.

Never buying online again!
 
I've been AWOL for a while, so I apologize if this has already been posted. My Chase Freedom had an offer today for 20% cash back at Staples, max $14, expires 7/20. My wife's Freedom had an offer for 10% back, and both of our CFU's had 5% back.

Our 5 chase personal cards STILL have none of these offers. So annoying. Congrats on getting them though!
