First, I'm not that great with kids. I just have a hard time coping with all the yelling, crying and such (I have two I love dearly, but I dread being left with them both for several days.)
Just as important, caring for two children is about four times more work than caring for one. It's really, really hard.
If your husband is going to do this, you need to schedule some help of some sort -- paid or otherwise -- to lend him a hand.
Of course, he might be better with the kids than I am.
