Decided to be daring

Just made my first ressie for "home". Will be staying at SSR Jan.4-10th.

Couldn't decide which section to request. They both sound nice. Since I haven't stayed at either, I'm going to take pot luck. Whichever section they assign me to is where I'll stay this trip.

Next time I can try the other section and then determine which one I like better.

I'm cancelling my Poly ressies I had for those dates, so I'll save a nice chunk of change. Guess I'll have to make that spa appointment

Sounds like a good plan! I usually leave room assignment open too. I only request Non-smoking for my asthma, and take my chances beyond that. I have never gotten anything bad at OKW, but I have had some I like better than others.

NS was my only request, also Diane. Not picking a section will keep the anticipation up also. It'll be exciting to see which section I get.

After our first stay at our "home" we thought it was the best possible location until we go put on the other end of the resort. Then we were sure THAT was the best possible location. The past few years, I have enjoyed the adventure of taking what we get, and I have not been disappointed. Oh sure, there are things that I might consider a bit negetive about some locations at OKW over others, but all in all, they have all been wonderful in some way!

I also am a SSR DVC owner...stayed in "The Springs" back in April...
room 3311...at the time, I believe it was the closest to the theme pool.
Great spot! The following I found to be within 3 min walking:
the theme pool,arcade,laundry service,Artists Palette and boat dock to DTD!
