Tuesday 14th December Very frosty this morning but it wasn’t as cold as it had been on the grey and misty mornings we’d had so far. After breakfast we made a timetable of all the shows, character meet-and-greets and parades we wanted to go to which was a help in deciding what to do when. We went on the Pinocchio and Snow White rides and then went to the Castle Theatre stage to meet Winnie the pooh!! There was a long queue – about 45 minutes – but Winnie was very pleased to see us (!), took us by the hand and gave us great big hugs!! He wagged his finger at me as I had my Eeyore scarf on and not one with him on!!

Then across to “It’s a Small World” and Pirates of the Caribbean before queuing up to meet Santa in his sleigh!!
Next was a show called “Mickey’s Winter Wonderland” in the Chapparal Theatre. We got there early and got front row seats. It was very good with Mickey and Minnie and the other characters ice-skating,

singing and dancing.
We had lunch at Casey’s Corner and after a bit of shopping went to Central Plaza to get spots right at the front for the Enchanted Fairytale Ceremony which was brilliant again. We stood there in the bitter cold for 40 minutes to ensure a good view and about 10 minutes before it started a Frenchwoman pushed her way from the back and stuck a camcorder between our heads and asked us to move so she could take photos – at that moment neither of us could suddenly understand French!! When the show started the woman actually put her camera in front of Rhiannon’s head which Rhiannon quite rightly knocked away, tutted a lot in a very English fashion and gave her a venomous stare!!!
Had a last go on Big Thunder Mountain before going to the Cable Car Bakeshop for warming drinks before queuing up again for Fantillusion. We watched it from the benches by Pizzeria Bella Notte and again there was hardly anyone around up there which is at the end of that parade and most people queue up in Main street where it starts. We had a brilliant view and as there were few people about the characters came over to us when they got off the floats.
In the Village a Russian folk group called Yamarka were performing so we stood and watched them singing and dancing for about half-an-hour. At the end a Russian Father Christmas appeared and he and all the musicians came down into the crowd and we all had to join in dancing in a circle and doing the Birdie Song (very Russian!!!) which was a good laugh.
Then we had a meal in the Rainforest Café and back to bed thoroughly shattered!!

Well done, Rhiannon,:cool1: it's so annoying when you've queued for ages and then someone tries to push in.

Thanks! Having stood in the FREEZING cold for 45 minutes to get the best possible view, we weren't about to let someone push in at the last minute and spoil it for us. I don't wish to stereotype but unfortunately quite a few French people do seem to think that's acceptable behaviour!
