My family and I go on our next WDW trip in October. There will be 10 of us, including my 5 year old niece. She was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when she was about 3. This means that she must never have any gluten(wheat)as it makes her ill. MY sister does great getting her gluten free foods and we are planning to do a fair amount of sit down restaurants while at WDW. We have heard the chefs will be very accomodating. My question is about counter service eateries. Will they accomodate special diets? For instance she can have french fries but only if they have been cooked in a dedicated vat away from wheat products) Have any of you had any experience with this? Is there somewhere that we should call ahead for the counter service places??? Just wondering.
Thank you!
