Condo resorts closer to Universal

Last year we stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and traveled to Universal. It wasn’t a terrible commute and we love Bonnet, however the rates at Bonnet have practically doubled. We stayed 8 nights last Oct for $890. I received a quote for 7 nights this October and it was over $1400. Time to look for a new condo resort. Any recommendations of condo type resorts closer to Universal? Thinking we will do a split stay. A few nights on property and a few nights off property. The size of a 2 bedroom condo works so much better for my family.

Hi this is a link to the Orlando thread. I am not sure if you have looked here. These peeps are great at off-site places to stay. Split stays are always nice!

Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld, which is only 5 minutes or so away from Universal. It gets really good ratings.

Another one is the Orlando International Resort Club.

We are trying Westgate Palace for a late arrival on our first night before moving on-site. It gets mixed reviews so we'll see. All of their units are two bedrooms. I booked on Hotwire for $110/night.
