The End!
After spending a great deal of time on our scavenger hunt, we had worked up quite the appetite! We were planning on going to Earl of Sandwich but first, we had some extra snack credits that we needed to burn. This could only mean one thing: a trip to Goofy's Candy Co.

I am almost embarrassed to say that we spent a GOOD chunk of time in this place. But then again, picking out your favorite bakery treat that you are *essentially* getting for free is a very important decision

Once we finally made our choices, we walked over to Earl of Sandwich and put in our orders. They had this holiday themed sandwich with carved turkey and cranberry sauce that sounded really good but I ultimately went with the Chicken Avocado sandwich. Rachel did get the holiday sandwich though and she loved it!
My sandwich was amazing! I'm actually getting hungry looking at this picture

The DDP meal came with a side (I got a bag of Chips) and a drink!
Rachel got Pasta salad as her side

Marilyn got Potato Salad

And Momma Hart must've gotten one of the 3 sides already pictured because I don't have a picture of hers!

We all throughly enjoyed our meal but when it's you last Disney meal, you've GOTTA have dessert! So I pulled out one of my treats EVER from Goofy's and dug in!

I'm about 99% sure they put crack in these things. They're SO GOOD.

I also picked up these with my remaining credits:
My fave cookies from disney are always a staple purchase!

Another Rice Krispie & some Coconut chocolate candy for people back home!

I think Rachel is eating chocolate covered pineapple? I'm not 100% sure but she liked it!

We finished out lovely meals and wrapped up our leftover sandwiches and with our full bellies made a slow trek back to the busses. We obviously stopped for pictures and shopping and a bathroom break along the way. Nobody is surprised

Had to take advantage getting as many of our "Three Musketeer" pictures as we could before going home

We fiiiiinally made it back to the busses and got back to All Star Sports in no time. But sadly, we did have a major casualty on the bus. Someone (who shall remain nameless because they've already lived it down enough) forgot our leftover Earl of Sandwiches on the bus and we never saw them again.

It's fine though, we weren't that hungry at that moment and that meant we didn't have to take them through security with us

Anyway, we had just about an hour before ME was coming to pick us up so we went and picked up our bags and tried to stuff all of our new purchases in our bags, which is always interesting lol. I did want to share this little tip that I always do to free up a hand/save space in my bag on the way home.

I always connect my resort mug (or anything else that can be hung) to my bag with my magic band! It never pops off and it saves so much space!

We sat on the benches outside and watched all of the families getting on the busses to go to the parks and just enjoyed the weather before going back home to winter and snow.

Our ME finally appeared and we made our way on the bus. We had a great time playing trivia on the way to the airport (which I was excited to see was different for the holiday season) it made the trip there seem to go by much quicker!

Once we arrived at the airport, we could tell the place was HOPPIN'. We had to check Flynn's crate and a suitcase and the line was insane. Thank goodness ME always gets you to the airport so early! We eventually got through the line and got over to security which once again was a madhouse. We must've just hit the airport at a bad time because there were people everywhere! Thankfully, since we had Flynn we got to go through the handicapped line which was much shorter.

We still had people everywhere pushing and crowding and TSA people yelling instructions. We were trying to stay calm and making sure that we had everything in order when Marilyn realized that she still had half of her reusable water bottle filled. We looked around to see if there was a trashcan to dump it out but we couldn't see anything so we all just passed the bottle around trying to guzzle the water down as quick as we could. Thankfully we were successful and didn't have to get pulled

Once through security, it was smooth sailing to our gate. We probably still had about 1 hour until our flight so we got settled in an empty area ready to get on the flight when the time came.

But then we waited... and waited... and WAITED. There was some airplane drama where one flight had technical difficulties so they used our plane to take the flight who was waiting before us to California. Therefore we didn't have a plane to go to Kentucky and they had to locate one for us. Oh gosh, it was a MESS. For a while there, there was talk of our flight getting bumped to the next day and we were looking up how much it would cost to go back to Disney another day

HOWEVER, 4 hours after our flight was supposed to leave, we were preparing to board. So while we would have rather been on our plane at our original time, we did have a GREAT time laying in the floor or the terminal and watching movies. As you can imagine, after 2 straight days of Disney we were delirious and crazy! Rachel and Flynn even too a nap at one point lol. I will say we did also get $25 flight vouchers for the delay which I thought was nice!

Gosh, that was the most insane airport experience ever and we were so happy when our plane landed! Sadly, the airport is about 1.5 hours from our town so the journey wasn't over yet! Poor Momma Hart had to drive us home and we all got to Rachel's house at about 4am (we should've been home around 11:30pm-12 originally) so we all just crashed out on her couch and went back home in the morning.

And that is where this TR ends... aw sad! But I am so glad I got to share this amazing trip with you guys! It was fun, action packed, and crazyness but so fun. I'm so happy we have now converted Marilyn into a Disney fan and I can't wait to go back to WDW in just over a week .
