Combine Placeholder Reservation with Military Discount?

We routinely purchase placeholder reservations while underway and was wondering if we can combine the 10% with the military discount cruise. Anyone with this experience out there? Thanks!

DCL doesn't allow stacking of discounts. Plus, usually the military offer requires a new reservation and a placeholder is not considered "new."

If you booked a placeholder on the ship, and then a military discount comes out on that cruise or other cruise you can cancel the placeholder and move that deposit to the military discount. As long as you haven't passed the PIF date on the original placeholder cruiser, if applicable.
