As of July 12, 2002, the 10th Anniversary WALT DISNEY WORLD Marathon reached its capacity of 16,000 registrants.
DISNEY'S HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO
For the first time in the event's history, DISNEY'S CORONADO SPRINGS Resort will host Disney's Health & Fitness Expo on January 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and January 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Expo will feature celebrity runner appearances and seminars on training, racing, and nutrition. All Marathon and Half Marathon participants are required to attend the Expo to receive their race number and ChampionChip.
Shuttle busses will depart from WALT DISNEY WORLD Resorts to DISNEY'S CORONADO SPRINGS Resort for guests staying on WALT DISNEY WORLD property. For guests planning to drive to the Expo, parking will not be available at DISNEY'S CORONADO SPRINGS Resort.
Guests will park at DISNEY'S BLIZZARD BEACH Water Park and board a shuttle to the Expo. More information about the Expo will
be included in your event program, which will be mailed to you in September.
