Cirque - give opinions please

Thanks. We have seats in section 204 row hh seats 1-4. We could have gotten section 106 row aa seats 16-20. What do you think of our choice? One of our family is really little and usually has to lap sit if here's no booster available. princess: princess:

I'm not seeing section 106...am I missing it? In my opinion it's always best to be as close to center as possible. However, if the back sections are not balcony, but rather just elevated slightly on an incline then they might not be that great for a small child to see. I have never personally been in the theatre. Anyone who has been there care to comment?

I'd really love to see the show, but my husband caught the Vegas show and found it "disturbing" and vows never to go again! Maybe I'll have to take my son without him!

I thought it was wonderful. We splurged and bought the most expensive seats not knowing that any seat has a fab view. In fact, I think the view would have been better farther back!

So, if you are not certain, buy the cheapest tickets.

i debated on if i wanted to spend the money , after going I think it was so worth it i want to take the whole family next trip. I had never seen it, have since seen another version on TV and it just is not the same as in person. a little wierd in a few places but mostly just unbelievable...we actually sat on the edge of our seats and the time flew past

I LOVE Cirque! The first show we saw was La Nouba and we were sorry we did not see them before that. DH and I have seen La Nouba twice, Quidam, O, Mystere, Alegria and we are going to see Varekai in Boston in August. I would rate the shows like this:

O
Quidam
La Nouba (the last act is AMAZING)
Mystere (my favorite music)
Alegria (they left out 2 acts in NY in May but the Russian Bars took my breath away)

but they were ALL wonderful and I would see any of them again!

::yes:: We (dw, dd and I) have seen the show 3 times from diffrent priced seats. The show is fantastic and is not to be missed. There is so much going on that all seat are "good.
I suggest getting category 2 or 3 seats and you can spend the diffrence on dinner at DD or buying souveniers

There are 3 Cirque shows in Vegas, and one of them is very "adult content."
Zumanity at the New York, New York Hotel Casino - Discover another side of Cirque du Soleil! A show for lovers, would-be lovers and anyone whose imagination has ever been sparked by the idea of love. This international cast of 50 eclectic and flirtatious performers and musicians, reaches out and takes the soul of the audience on a 90 minute encounter, awakening most primal urges to a new form of eroticism blending movement, style, acrobatics, uninhibited costumes and beatutiful bodies with the sensual caress of the human voice and the insistent pulse of exotic rhythms. Ole!
Perhaps this is the one your DH saw? If so, you can assure him that the show at Disney is very different and definitely family-oriented.

Thanks for all of the responses - I'm all psyched up about the show. Can't wait to see it Saturday.

As the others have said - you are going to love it!!

We've seen it twice and I could definitely see it again.

Enjoy!

I ordered our tickets for Cirque last Sunday online, and they haven't arrived in the mail yet. I'm kind of getting worried, how long did it take for your tickets to arrive after you ordered them?

So excited to be taking our second trip to Disney in October!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I'm thinking of getting tickets for my wife and me, parents night out. We will have our DD's with us. Ages 5 and 4. If it is that good, and suitable, I'd love them to see it.

What do you think? They love dancing.

Take them! My 4, almost 5 yr old son still talks about La Nouba!!!! I think that was one of his favorite things he did during our trip!

My tickets were post-marked two days after I ordered them. We're in Michigan and probably received them in less then 7 days.
