Hi all. Over tThanksgiving weekend, I made sure to hit the Charater Warehouse in Las Vegas, and I'm sure glad I did! All of the 50th stuff I could have hoped for was there! The golden Mouse ears were under $1!!!!! (I stocked up!)
Christmas ornaments were around $5, keychains in the $2.50 range, and pins were around $5. They had a large assortment of the golden ride pins. AWESOME!!!!
There were lots of great values there, if you are planning a trip to Vegas, make sure to stop by. It was worth the drive across town!

Can I ask whereabouts in Vegas the Warehouse is? I really wanna stop by there when we hit Vegas next year.

I'm with Queenie, where in Vegas it it? Let us know when your baby is born, that is such an exciting time.

I hope you left some for me!!!! :teeth:

I'm headed to Vegas in 1 week and I was hoping the 50th anniversary stuff was goign to show up there. When I was in Fullerton's Character Warehouse, I picked up a 10% off coupon...and this time I'm not leaving it in the hotel!!! :rotfl2:

My MIL called the outlet ccenter the "Bells" ?
If you are on the 15, it is off the Blue Diamond Springs exit.

Also, there is another outlet center, called the Premium outlets, which had a regular Disney Store outlet. (Not that great of deals, though, IMHO)

I think it's in the outlet mall formerly known as Belz. It's now part of the Premium outlet malls chain. Basically...when you're on the strip, you just keep going south...past Mandalay Bay, past Vacation Village....you'll eventually see it.

The Strip Trolley goes to both of the outlet centers.

At the "Bells" (old name---can't think of new one) Outlet at the West end of LV Blvd, the Disney Outlet is NOT in the main indoor building! It is in a small strip of outlets across the parking lot from the main building.

The STORE at the Premium Outlets (Eastern part of tourist corridor near Downtown), is NOT an outlet IMO.

The trolley does? Or the CAT does? I'm NOT doubting you - just the last time I rode the trolley, it only looped from Tropicana (Boulevard) to the Stratosphere. TIA!

According to the trolley website http://www.lasvegasstriptrolley.com/ , there are routes that take you to the outlet mall.

It says:

Each South Loop Trolley completes a route from Mandalay Bay thru Grandview, turns north bound and runs from Hilton Garden Inn to
the Las Vegas Outlet Center.

South Loop South Bound South Loop North Bound
1. Mandalay Bay
2. Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort
3. Cancun
4. Worldmark by Trendwest
5. South Coast Hotel & Casino
6. Grandview
7. Steiner's Pub / Food 4 Less
8. Hilton Garden Inn
9. Las Vegas Outlet Center

There's a map located here

I'd doubt me if i were you, too! I'm LOCAL---we don't use the trolley!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Glad someone else posted the stops.

BTW---be prepared to hire a taxi back to your hotel---if you don't have a good outlet by your house, you could seriously stock up!!!!

Just came back from Vegas. I got some good deals. I actually went to the outlet TWICE! I had a flyer from the Fullerton store that said that if I brought the flyer in to the Vegas store, I'd get 10% off. :)

They had 50th anniversary ball caps for $1.30 and another ball cap for $2.50 or something like that. I got an Incredibles baseball shirt for $12. Bought a whole ton of pins (they're not THAT discounted but better than paying full price for them) and .... got the pin trading Mickey beanie I was looking for at DL and now glad I didn't find. Got him for half off!!! Now I wish I could go after Christmas cause I wonder if they'll have the Christmas hats on sale. I always wanted some of those funny Christmas hats but am never prepared to pay the big price for them. :)

It was funny, the first time I went, the poor girl had such problems ringing in my stuff (she did it about 4 times before she got it right) so she gave me 15% off for my troubles. (Should have run off to get more stuff!!!) :lmao:

omg i got to write this down, i am so excited

Just got back from a trip that included an hour at the character warehouse, and if you're in Las Vegas, you gotta go! We got pj's for the kids, t-shirts for everyone ($5-$9 range), and even a few toys. It's organized really well, clean, spacious, and has Disney movies for the kids to watch while you shop. Just make sure you check the price tags, since they clearly state how much you're saving. Sometimes it's 60%, sometimes it's 5%. We even picked up a couple of books with photos of Disneyland for the kids ($1.79 each). They then sat with their grandparents and showed them all the attractions we rode the week before.

Oh yeah, definitely either drive a car or plan on taking a taxi back. I would not have wanted to attempt to take our gigantic bag on the bus or trolley!

Wow, thanks for this info - I didn't even know there was an outlet store in Vegas!! I'm going to Las Vegas after 2 weeks at WDW in November this year - boy, will I be shopping!!!
Thanks for the links, too. Good info for the tourists!!!
