Canadian Buffoon's Exhausted Vacation - Update 09/01 - New TR link!

And then Liesa told me that she
was going to be in the park
sooner than I was and had
some plans and would meet
me later, rather than earlier.

The coordination with Doc
started that afternoon with
Doc texting me:

Doc: What time are you getting here?
pkondz: Aiming for around 6:00

I wasn't positive, with transportation,
what time I'd get there, nor was
I sure how long it would take
to get ready to go.

Sounds like a fun evening with fun folks!

Doc: Will be off pirates in 5
Doc: Oitside (sic)
Doc: Where are you?

Doc: Hello hello hello

Whoops!

Oops! Been there done that.

There was one woman in a costume
who was walking past in the
direction I'd be soon heading.
Cute costume. Old school Bo Peep.
Nice job, too... wait...
I know her! It's Liesa!

Nice job Liesa!

When you're with Liesa,
you quickly learn why she
knows all the best spots
to pee in the Disney parks.

:rolleyes1

::yes:: :laughing:

More of Doc's family was
coming in soon, so they had
to head to the front of the
park, but no big deal, because
we'll meet up later for sure,
so no, I didn't get a photo,
and I never saw them again.

So... poop.

Bummer. I'll have to look at the chatter and see if he posted it.

Actions speak louder
than words.
She let me know quite
clearly what she thought
of that idea.

I'm surprised that they let this picture go through, I've had pictures like this deleted for depicting violence.

I also spent some time
trying to find some rum.
You see, I'd come to the party
heavily fortified, but as the
night went on, my spirits
mysteriously (hic!) dish...
disssp… dashap… vanished.

So this confused me a bunch since I know you HATE rum.

I set out once more and found
a brace of well-dressed lads
whom I felt sure would be
able to help me with my task.

I approached them and asked
if they knew where I might
find some refreshments.

I'm sure they would know!

(love the gravedigger on the left!)

He's got GREAT facial expressions!

So... now that you've had
a good look at it...

Can anyone (not you Doc,
and not you either, Liesa...
You both know) tell me what
my costume is?

::yes:: Alfready PM'd

The wench was after me rum!!

I'm surprised you didn't give it all to her! Given your love of the stuff!

Ah! Good... Maybe you can help me.

Every time the power goes out,
my computer stops working.
I try to fix it, but it's too dark
to see what the problem is.
Do you think it could be

the hard drive?

Have you tried changing the batteries, should be 4 triple a's

That sounds like a win, win, win!

I agree! So fingers crossed.

It was a wonderful change of pace!

I bet, I want to have a longer next trip where I don't feel the need to do everything in just a couple days.

Pro tip.
Find a good butcher.
He (or she!) will be worth

his (or her) weight in gold.

I had a fantastic butcher, unfortunately he passed away. No word of a lie, was killed by a piece of meat that fell from its hook and knocked him to the ground and he hit his head. His kids ran the shop and joked about it frequently but eventually sold it as they said it was not their passion.

Sounds like a fun evening with fun folks!
Well... some didn't happen,
some was too brief,
but at least I got some

time with one person!
Oops! Been there done that.
I think we all have. :)
Nice job Liesa!
Her costume was amazing!
Bummer. I'll have to look at the chatter and see if he posted it.
He did. It's at the bottom
of the previous page.

I'm surprised that they let this picture go through, I've had pictures like this deleted for depicting violence.
Really! Hmmm... maybe
because of the costumes?

So this confused me a bunch since I know you HATE rum.
Just being in character. ;)
I'm sure they would know!
Sure! They may be dead on
their feet, but they work there.

He's got GREAT facial expressions!
::yes::
::yes:: Alfready PM'd
And you were right. :)
I'm surprised you didn't give it all to her! Given your love of the stuff!

Character.

When the power came on again,
I pressed the button that opens
that little slide-y tray.
There weren't any batteries in it,

so I guess that was the problem.
I bet, I want to have a longer next trip where I don't feel the need to do everything in just a couple days.
That's the key.
Not feeling the need to
DO ALL THE THINGS!!!

Holy cow!

Um... poor choice of words, there.
His kids ran the shop and joked about it frequently but eventually sold it as they said it was not their passion.
 They joked about it!?!?!?

No that’s the cup holder. I’m not sure where the battery compartment is.

Then it didn't happen. Unless @docsoliday1 produces the proof.
I did produce a photo (finally sorta caught up). Although not of us together.

@docsoliday1 Haven't seen you in a while... Hello?
Sorry, true...I haven't seen much of the dis lately. We had our disdads convention #8 and then I was working 12 hour shifts before and after to make up for the time off. Didn't leave much dis time and when I had it, it was only on the phone.

Every time I see that photo (I've read your update a couple of times now) that head on the lamb looks like a giant B00b
I thought the same thing when I saw it. I was thinking wow liesa had some other surgery and not just on her back. :rotfl2:

Well... I got to spend a bit
of time with Liesa and did
see Doc for a couple minutes...

So not too bad.
I can say with certainty, the time with Liesa was better. With niece's showing up late and then choosing the slowest food spot at MK (possibly the world), our time together that night was much too brief.

No that’s the cup holder. I’m not sure where the battery compartment is.
But I put the batteries in and they disappeared?
Thought that meant it ate them and it worked?
There's a weird acidic burning smell now.

That's normal, right?

Didn't leave much dis time and when I had it, it was only on the phone.
And yet you never call...

:lmao:

Yeah, I think we met for...
under a minute???

All that searching... just for
a "Hi! See ya!"

:sad2:

Ah well... we did get two days

that were pretty good. :)

That would sure explain it. :)

Well, Bo Peep would have a different kind of flock.

Yeah... Was looking forward
to spending some MNSSHP
time with them, but...
Yeah, unfortunately, with other folks working and not getting there until late and taking an inordinate amount of time to get hotdogs, I was a bit frustrated with herding cats. Next time (if I decide to pay exhorbitant money for insane crowds) I think maybe I'll plan on spending time with y'all. I can see them more often.

Napa? Via Napoli?
No, y'all were talking about a meet up in the Napa valley I thought. 21 journey or something.

When the power came on again,
I pressed the button that opens
that little slide-y tray.

That's the cupholder! I see someone beat me to it...the difficulties of being 8-10 pages behind and trying to catch up.

That's the key.
Not feeling the need to
DO ALL THE THINGS!!!
That's the joy of living here...I can go and not feel the need I must do anything other than whatever the folks I happen to be meeting up with want to. It really does make for a much more relaxing visit.

Of course, every time I go to either party, I wonder why I spend so much money to fight ridiculous crowds :sad2:
This!

Yeah, again, if I do it again, I'll focus on being able to spend more time with y'all and less herding cats ;)

And on a totally different note, I am to the last page. Now, I will eventually have to go back and see all the banter I skimmed over in my frantic efforts to catch up.

If it happens again.
Possibly? Sure.
But no plans at this time.

Yeah, I figured that out
after I posted.
Should've gone back

to edit.

We're well beyond cupholders.
But we have yet to get to
the hamsters running in

the wheel powering it.

You'll find nothing but
brilliant prose and deep
philosophical discussion.

Ah, well there is your problem. Sometimes it can be hard to close. You just have to hold the batteries down and jam it closed. There may be some grinding and cracking sounds and some smoke when the battery juice makes contact with air and plastic but thats normal...even healthy if you inhale as much as you can.

That's the key.
Not feeling the need to
DO ALL THE THINGS!!!

Ah it sounds so nice. I want an 9 day trip so I can do just that. If I land this job, I think I will be able to swing 8 or 9 days around Christmas next year, will try and get DVC rental for AKL.

Holy cow!

Um... poor choice of words, there.

Not the best, not the worst.

 They joked about it!?!?!?

The son, in particular, said it was healthy and if his dad was going to die in any way this was the most fitting. Die doing what you are passionate about and all that jazz.

I did that.
(Well, I didn't inhale... wait...
didn't someone say that already?)
Glad it was normal.
I got a bit surprised and concerned
at the small fire, but it went

out eventually, so I relaxed.

Hope that works out for you.
But... if you haven't been in
a while, even 9 days will probably

not be enough.

Okay, I can understand that.

It's Tough To Be Bothered By IBTTBS.

:lmao:

Oh, sure.
First you whack me, then you
tell me how to soothe the whack.

Maybe just don't hit me in the first place?

Halloween party pooper.

It's spendy because of them???
I think 3-4 people's ticket prices
will pay their salary for the night.

I think there were more people

there than 3-4.

I don't mean just them, ALL the little details tossed around the park. The lights, fog, CM costumes, it all adds up, and a lot people just don't see it.

And I think you mean there were for than 3 or 4 MILLION peope there. About 3.98 million to many!!

Then why did you hit me?

It is the Haunted Manion...

No, I sashayed, stretching
from side to side.

Well, see. There's your problem! If you'd learn to saunter all your needs to stretch might be alleviated. Then again, you might want to keep your linament handy.

You have to save the gif,
then upload it using the
"Attach files" option.

Derp. Thank you!!

Ah. Thanks. Thanks a lot.
Oh anytime! (Got any more?)
