I agree - I get why the cap is there but I actually think the rule should be if you book 29 days or less out you should be able to borrow as much as you want if there is availability. Seems pointless to cap last minute trips to me.Once you are within 7 days, I think it's worth a call to ask. Seems a reasonable request to grant rather than let a room go empty. Good luck!

I agree. The program will allow you to borrow over 50%. Then within 7 days it is checked and if over 50% it gets canceledThe"within 7 days" means that sometime in the next 7 days, your reservation would be cancelled as it was in violation of the temporary policy. Could be tomorrow, or the next day, etc. But I noticed today that the system will not allow you to borrow more than 50% now (before it would still allow to borrow up to 100%; you just had to be careful and do the math yourself).
