Does anyone have any suggestions to requesting this category room? We are traveling with four children ages 18, 15, 13, 9. Thank you!;)

We generally find the higher the better. Less noise potential from activities on the boardwalk.

You might also want to consider if you want to be near the elevator (less walking) or further away from the elevator (less traffic noise outside your door).

Higher floor and farther from the elevators for best views of Illuminations and Wishes.

Most of the 2 bedrooms are far from the elevators. I would request high floor.

And if you don't mind taking the stairs, wonderful.

Low floor and/or closer to the elevator means less hall walking if you aren't stair people. Its a trade.

We compromise and actually like the rooms that no one mentions. Halfway up in the middle - close to the stairs, decent views, can still get to the elevator.

If you are talking anout renting such a room, you can rent through a DVC member who owns at Boardwalk Villas and get a boardwalk view room because it is a booking category but you usually need to do that at 11 months out from time of arrival to assure getting it. If you are renting through Disney, you cannot request it.
